7 | 16.11.2024 | Styles619 | 7.0 | I thought this was a pretty good match. Yes it went only 10 minutes, but they were able to squeeze a lot in that amount of time. I know that Jacob Fatu lost some weight before going to WWE, but even before losing that weight, this guy was ridiculously athletic for a man of his size. Josh Alexander was on his fantastic Impact World title run and it was cool that he got to defend against Jacob Fatu at this show. The match had a lame finish, but the post match made up for it when Diamond Dallas Page came into the ring and gave the Diamond Cutter to Matt Cardona. I enjoyed this for what it was. ***1/2 |

19 | 20.11.2023 | Rjepic1 | 7.0 | For a match that went to a no contest this was really good stuff here. Both of these guys are really good. I'd forgotten how good Jacob Fatu is and the great moves he can pull off because it'd been so long since I've seen him. I do wish this had a clean finish and yet again went a little longer but for what this was it was pretty good. At least the no contest got us Brian Myers and Matt Cardona on the show. |

21 | 01.10.2023 | benny5bellys | 7.0 | These two put some effort in but ooof the crowd gave them absolutely nothing, they would not even clap along. If you put this match in front of a crowd who wanted to watch it then this match would feel a whole lot better than it did as everything was played out to utter silence. |

31 | 16.01.2023 | KingsCrossing | 6.0 | Good enough, but definitely not what it could have been. They seemed preoccupied with Fatu getting in all his most impressive spots to make an impression on an audience that was largely unfamiliar with him. This was understandable, but held them back from putting together a match with a more interesting story (although the spots were very impressive - Fatu is an incredible athlete). The finish was very weak too, as expected for an interpromptional match such as this. A fine match, but one that I am confident would be much better in a different setting. |

35 | 12.09.2022 | Prince Osborne | 7.0 | Both men were finding the groove of a gargantuan clash almost until the pungent interference from The Major Players to give a nostalgic Diamond Cutter shutdown from DDP himself! Apart from that dumb finish, this was a great contest between two heavyweights who haven't tussled before. I do hope that Fatu gets the shine in Impact sooner so that we could see a rematch properly between these two badass men. 3.5 out of 5 stars! |

But in any case, the fighters showed a great show. Jacob Fatu has rediscovered himself for me as a top athlete, he has shown almost everything he is capable of and Lord, how I want to see him more often in action. Josh Alexander still holds the bar for high-quality performance and you can see how he carries the flag of Canada with honor and pride. Top match with a terrible result. |

47 | 03.08.2022 | MilkDDT | 6.0 | |
48 | 03.08.2022 | plaguespreader | 7.0 | I would guess Fatu's reasoning for doing highspot after highspot was that this was the match where the most people would be able to see him post-COVID (MLW was actually going somewhere with CONTRA before 2021 imo) - got a fair amount of buzz online so I hope he gets more attention going forward. Weak crowd did not help a pretty basic "move-move" match structure, but a good teaser for future Josh Alexander-Jacob Fatu matches with more setup and thought. |

68 | 01.08.2022 | greaterdale | 6.0 | I liked the high spots by Jacob Fatu and the match quality was satisfactory. I'm not fond of the DQ finish. It was cool seeing DDP after the match. His cutter looked so good. |
69 | 01.08.2022 | eltetechori | 6.0 | I honestly expected a better fight from these two, with such a difference in fighting style I expected something else, however it was a good fight and if you like these two wrestlers you will like it just the same. |
70 | 01.08.2022 | wesereit | 7.0 | The finish is obviously terrible but DQ finishes in interpromotional matches aren't anything new so I can't get too mad. Otherwise the match was good. Fatu looked great in certain spots. |

74 | 01.08.2022 | AdriGn202 | 8.0 | This match was incredible, had potential of a 4.25 or a 4.5 stars. But the end the ending ruined everything, but even with that, the match its awesome, and Jacob Fatu stole the show. **** |

77 | 01.08.2022 | hrtjuulpod | 6.0 | The DQ finish ruined a perfectly good match for the Impact World Title. It was really a shame. Nice to see DDP though. Fatu looked great. |

84 | 01.08.2022 | hfield07 | 4.0 | The finish really took away from what was an average match. I expected better but Fatu isn't one for following logic in his matches. The idea of the match was better than the execution. For being a big man who can do cool things Fatu does an amazing moonsault off the ropes at one point and it is just a small transition spot. *3/4 |
85 | 01.08.2022 | norahdarp | 7.0 | That match was a lot of fun, I just wish that there was a clear winner. Alexander had great powerlifting and Fatu was flying in ways I wouldn? t expect. I'll let the interference DQ finish slide, because Diamond Dallas Page came in to give one more Diamond Cutter. 7/10 |

88 | 01.08.2022 | GoldLiger | 7.0 | First two thirds of a killer title match ended in a No Contest for heat on Matt Cardona for some reason. I guess Alexander vs Cardona is the angle after the Shelley defense but why not do that after Josh defends on the Impact show? This was a really solid heavyweight clash that showed off what Fatu can do and right as it was kicking into high gear they do the run-in. A real shame but I thought it was very good until then. ***1/4 |
89 | 01.08.2022 | fiction | 6.0 | A match that should've happened outside of this setting. Fatu went into this knowing he'd have a fair amount of eyes on him and made the most of his opportunity. Dreadful DQ ending ruined what could've been something pretty good. |
90 | 01.08.2022 | texasyosh | 6.0 | Fine enough match. Fatu was cooking but the finish really sucked out all the air in the room. Fatu needs to go to a national promotion ASAP. |
91 | 01.08.2022 | doesntmatter | 5.0 | Y'all, Fatu is on YT feuding with Mads Krugger instead of being literally anywhere else stacking bodies and cashing checks. I like Krugger well enough, I guess (shoutout DPW), but c'mon now. He and Alexander show off a lot of good spots, and there was a really good match brewing here until a run in by... Matt Cardona and Brian Meyers causes a DQ............ OK. |
