Bret Hart & Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair & Shawn Michaels

[7.0] "This was peak WWF quality in 1992 between two seasoned vets and the 2 up and comers. Unfortunately, Vince and his stooges decided to go down the path of cartoony Nickelodeon style booking for the kids and 1992 really was the twilight year for the golden age of the WWF. What's interesting is that this match was released on Coliseum video a full year after it happened and even young marks at the time knew Good Ol JR only joined the WWF right around WrestleMania 9 time and was still doing commentary for WCW in the Summer of 92. Also, by the time JR came to the WWF, Ric Flair was already gone from the promotion, and Mr Perfect who is working as the heel manager in the corner had already dumped Flair and gone baby face and was in a bitter feud with Bobby Heenan but Bobby is doing commentary with JR here and cheering on Perfect and the heels. So it's obviously a dub over from the 1992 match done in 1993 but it's odd to hear Bobby ignoring current story line plot."

[7.0] "I wish I could give this a higher score because the In-Ring work was impeccable, unfortunately having the illegal man in a tag match get the pin is an unforgivable sin. If it wasn't for that this match is 8+"

[10.0] "Extremely sick tag team match here, some truly insane star power in this one. I think some folks are underselling this, I loved it."

[8.0] "Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels vs. Macho Man and Bret Hart with JR and Bobby Heenan on commentary. Hellll yeahhh. ****"

[9.0] "This is an insane match, with four of the greatest wreslters of all time in the ring, one of the best WWF tag team matches of 1990s (****1/2)"

[7.0] "The level of talent in this match was insane. Cranky JR on commentary. That heat segment was awesome, the managers were involved too and even Bret at the apron was fantastic. Michaels and Flair bumps big time for the comeback."

[7.0] "This was a good match and a classic of WWE at the time - nice to see the mix of massive stars of the present day/past teaming with two ready to step up to the main event. I enjoyed this, although it is by no means an absolute must see classic."

[6.0] "A very fun match-up, of course, but it doesn't translate to a very meaningful or re-watchable match. All four legends get an opportunity to demonstrate their skill and work well but there's a lack of memorable spots and a goofy finish that features the wrong man making the pin."

[8.0] "The start of this is a fast paced tag with good work from both teams as they both tag in multiple times so everyone can get in some shine, but Randy Savage was on fire in this one with his selling and offense here. Savage and Bret get a brief heat segment working over Shawn's arm after he ran into the turnbuckle which was pretty good. Finally we got the heel long beatdown on Savage, in which everyone did a good job especially Savage with his selling and brief hope spots. Flair made a big mistake going for a top rope dive which allowed Bret to make his big hot tag at the end which was good. The ending is funny because it doesn't involve one legal man but this was still great as expected when these 4 are involved.****"
