Sam Gradwell vs. Trent Seven

Despite lasting less than 15 minutes, it was very well-structured, with both wrestlers having their own story within the match: Trent Seven recently embracing his villainous side and Sam Gradwell, who, despite having been a face for several weeks, maintains his tough, streetwise style. The match is highly recommended and, in my opinion, a hidden gem from NXT UK."

Trent Seven is like a fish in water when it comes to meanness and cunning, and in the end it turned out that way. The match of big ring professionals and the maestro of the development of stories on the mat."

[7.0] "A very solid main event between two gatekeepers of the brand. Seven embraced his heel character in an convincing way while Gradwell thrived good as a face. The action was methodical but effective at all points. It wasn't flashy or gravity defying - simple form of wrestling executed in a neat way. From the dirty tactics to the wrestling quality, all felt very good, if not great. Bate's return was done great and the imminent showdown is ought to be a slugfest. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"

[6.0] "Good, but the crowd weren't really going for it, don't think they really saw Sam Gradwell as a babyface against the newly heel Trent Seven. And as Seven recently turned, Gradwell wasn't really expected by the fans to do all that much except get cheated at the finish. I did laugh at Tyler Bate returning after the betrayal the same week that Jungle Boy returned to confront Christian Cage, whose turn aired the same week as Seven's on Bate."
