[8.0] "So many shenanigans, you would've thought this was a WWE match (not that that's a negative). Prince Devitt plays a very effective heel throughout, and the crowd is very much rallying against him and for Gedo. Gedo plays a great scrappy babyface, with some funny moments where he outsmarts Devitt and Karl Anderson. At one point of the match, you really think Gedo is going to pull it off (with Okada's help). That would've been a storybook ending, but sadly Devitt kicks out and gets the win in the end. I wouldn't say this is an amazing match, but it was very good."

[9.0] "I love this match, Gedo outsmarts the heel Devitt at every turn and does all he can to try and take the title off of Devitt. Lots of interference's from both sides, and a really good pace results in an incredibly entertaining match, and probably Devitt's best in his Bullet Club run. (****1/4)"

While Devitt provided a decent foil for Gedo, I didn't like Devitt's work on top nearly as much but the crowd heat, Gedo's selling and offence kept me into this so much. ****1/4"

[10.0] "I really liked the atmosphere of the match going in. The match had a big fight feel and the crowd was very excited. I liked how much the crowd was behind Gedo as well. The crowd loved him and supported whenever he did well which was a lot throughout the match. He outsmarted Devitt and angered all of Bullet Club. Some great moments were when he was tempting Anderson to hit him and getting him mad on the outside and when he turned a throw over the top rope into a plancha on Anderson. Devitt was great cheating and using weapons. I liked how Devitt displayed his frustration and wanted to punish Gedo. I really liked how Gedo attacked Devitt's leg after a failed double foot stomp. I thought it was really excellent how varied the attacks on the leg were from using the ring post and a chair to kicks and submissions. Devitt's selling was pretty great too. I really liked how Okada made the save when Anderson and Fale attacked. There were some incredible nearfalls at the end by both men before Devitt finally won with Bloody Sunday. This match was fantastic. It was a great hard fought match by both men and both shined."

Gedo was great here, he outsmarted the heel side at some points. Devitt played heel role well and got a lot of heat. Gedo did good job targeting devitt's left leg. However, devitt did pretty meh job selling it. But it didn't take anything from the match. The interference really added the drama for the match. The crowd was very hot and total behind Gedo. Overall really great main event which was a really hidden gem in their both careers."

[9.0] "Fantastic match, the crowd was red hot and massively behind Gedo and really thought he could win this one, and I thought the interferences were well executed and added to this contest, and I also liked the legwork by Gedo, and while Devitt could have sold it better it didn't hurt the match, a really good contest. (****1/2)"
