[5.0] "On GIFs this match would look pretty godlike imo, but overall this wasn't as exciting as it could've been imo - crowd reactions told the overall story, as what happened to be the finish came across as just another spot before Callihan tapped out."

[4.0] "It's also interesting to see matches with a few very low ratings, as you'll wonder if you'll agree with those unpopular opinions. In this case I absolutely do, as Sami and Kyle had a boring 25-minute 'epic' that never reached an epic conclusion or moment. They started with a few quick exchanges out of the gate, and while both men did work holds it never felt like this match was progressing logically. The pacing was all over the place, and there were no exciting exchanges or nearfalls in the final 1/3rd. The best exchanges were in the first 10 minutes. It was by the 15-minute mark where I felt like I've seen all that these two could do with one another. It was very boring. **"

A lot of the time, neither of them had the professionalism to try and get the match over, as they instead decided to engage in pointless banter that was in no way amusing."

After a bitter loss the night before, you would think Sami would try and to be as aggressive as possible with Kyle, but it was quite the opposite as he maintained his composure and actually tried to wrestle Kyle's style the whole match. It was a great back and forth match with many strikes and lots of head drops of course. Match could've gone 5 minutes shorter, but it was still a great serious exhibition match, ****1/2."

Kyle's heel work in PWG feels very awkward, nowhere near the quality of Callihan's character work, but they were well-matched athletically. Not great, but in terms of quality stiff match, this blew away the preceding Drake/Sami match by a large margin."

I know I shouldn't go into PWG expecting anything different, but there was a time when they put on fantastic matches without sacrificing all elements of psychology, selling, and basic logic. Just two guys doing move after move to each other, get your spots in and damn the rest. Admittedly, some of the spots were quite impressive but that's seriously just not enough for me by itself."
