[8.0] "This was a very good match. This was Jay Lethal's first ever appearance in PWG and only one of two that he would ever make. Eddie Edwards was in his last year wrestling in the promotion and out of the two singles these guys have had together, this was the longer one. They weren't going out there trying to steal the show, rather they were there to have a good match and entertain the crowd, including both men being whipped by the fans at out point toward a direction. With Lethal playing up the Black Machismo gimmick from his TNA days, this felt like a very good house show match you would see in WWE, and the crowd reactions were great. ***3/4"

[6.0] "This match was good, with some strong psychology as Edwards and Lethal worked a match rather than performed one."

[4.0] "This could have been a grear contest, but they kept cutting the wrestling with off-kilter comedy that disrupt the rhythm, seemingly starting back the feeling-up process over and over. This made for a very disjointed match with low identity, more confusing than entertaining and certainly wasted potential from a match that could have been great instead of merely passable. Jay Lethal debut in PWG his underwhelming, putting his future in question."

[8.0] "Very good match throughout, this match was Lethal's PWG debut. These guys put on a really good technical clinic"
