All four put on an enjoyable 4 way in order to become the first International champion, well, the All-Atlantic championship, which was its name at the time. Clark had a very good showing here and you thought he might pull the upset and win the title."
[9.0] "This match was booked so well! Unbelievable! I know this PPV was cursed with so many injuries leading up to this show, but the best part was this is one of those matches that over delivered and it gave us huge breakout moment for Clark Connors who amongst the other star power, was overlooked. I love how the crowd gained empathy every time he got beat down, so when he put Miro through that table the crowd popped so loud for Clark. Just excellent story telling and booking altogether and really gave a new belt a phenomenal debut match."
[6.0] "This was suppose to be Miro's moment. When I looked at this match all I could think of was how misused Miro, Malakai and to an extent Pac were/are, not just in AEW but also in WWE right now. Match was good but it took a while to get going for me. And once it did, it did not really peak my interest that much unfortunately. This was a usual 4 way match."
[9.0] "A fantastic match between all four men with really amazing action, spots and psychology between everyone involved, they gave amazing performances and a great win for Pac becoming the inaugural AEW All Atlantic/International Champion."
[8.0] "this was a very fun fatal 4 way, Clark Connors what a showing and to see what hes done since is great, Miro looked like a killer only losing due to a mist to the eyes, Malakai and PAC cant keep there hands off eachother and due to that it helps Pac take over with a 450 and then the brutalizer on Clark for the tap win. Great match!"
[6.0] "Man, that match aged poorly for me. Not only because two of those guys in this match left the AEW, but because they literally sucked in that match. Miro didn't put a effort in doing some good moves and impressive ones for show the great powerhouse he is and Black almost made me thought that his knees are worse than Tanahashi's one, nothing he or Miro did looked special or interesting, a almost failed Fatal 4 Way Match. Clark Connors which was basically a rookie in that time, was the MVP of this match surprising me a lot that did not remember while I was rewatching. He showed great skills, excellent timing to make and take moves and a impecable selling, something I expect from a guy trained by The Wrestler. Thank god they choose the right winner, PAC, for this inaugural match."
[8.0] "(7.7) I cam into this thinking it would be a cool down match and it very much started like one but wow what an ending. There were some great spots throughout the entire second half which made this really great. Connors basically getting the shit kicked out of him was fun to see as well. The final 450 was the icing on the cake to a great 4 way."
[7.0] "Wasn't super into this when it was a somewhat slow Miro domination match but then Clark Conners started putting in one of the wildest performances I've seen in a MINUTE and I was locked in from there. Also loved the finish, PAC deserves the world."
[7.0] "[3.5*] I hated the idea of two Four Way matches on the same show and my problem was with this one, but it ended up being very good in a true spotfest. They went with the idea of doing a fast-paced spawn of spots and the action was just excellent. Clark Connors had an undeniable showing and the crowd loved him, everything went well on this one."
[7.0] "Such an underrated gem of a match this one is. The fatal four-way formula makes sure that there's constant action, and that everyone gets a chance to shine. Seeing the crowd slowly get behind Connors was great to see, as he had a career-best performance here. PAC winning was great in hindsight too. 3.75 Stars."
[8.0] "For the first All Atlantic (now the International) Championship match, all 4 made sure to make it seem as valuable as possible. Clark Connors got some great moments, including a memorable table bump. And while PAC was a bit of a predictable result, Miro and Malaki sure did try to keep us guessing. [8.0] "Another really good match with this one. PAC getting the win was great, as he was long overdue for a title reign in AEW. Everyone else here did great also. Black is such an incredible talent, Miro was a fantastic big man here, and Connors was an awesome underdog. His spot with Miro through the table was amazing, and I really enjoyed the finish of this."
[8.0] "This was MUCH better than the other four way match in the show, everyone looked damn good here, especially Miro and Malakai Black. The pacing wasn't perfect, with a few noticeable miscues, but overall I thought the action was really clean and gripping. [7.0] "Godd four way match: the first part saw Miro dominate for most of the time and I didn't liked it very much but after Connors smashed Miro through the table with a spear the action got better especially because of Clark Connors. The final minutes were great as everybody had the opportunity to win but eventually Pac was able to capture his title in Aew and what a great moment it was. 7/10 - 3.5*/5*"
[5.0] "Four-ways have always annoyed me whether it's due to one or two wrestlers in the match sleeping off-screen waiting for their spot or the fact that there will almost always be a lack of focus on at least one wrestler. Regardless I went in with lowered expectations and I wasn't disappointed. The obvious issues of this formula were present but the feeling of chaos (spotty as it is) along with the chance offered to and capitalized by Clark Conners to showcase his ability and get himself over were a welcome surprise. Unsurprisingly he was the fall guy and the winner was somewhat predictable to me. Also Malakai Black completely whiffed the black mass."
[8.0] "Maybe not as great as Dave Meltzer's rating suggests, but still a really good Fatal four way. Miro is undoubtedly the MVP of the match, and the first part is completely led by him. The second part, which isn't led by Miro but by all the four participants, is great and the one that really raises the level of the match. A great way to welcome the new All Atlantic Championship"

[8.0] "This 4-Way rocked a lot. Even if everybody knew that Connors was gonna eat the pin, the later showed some good thing on the big scene. Miro was a great brute, PAC the workhorse as Black was the spoiler. Everything was melted up in a superb mix. That was smooth to watch and never the things went down. The final minutes were great, the tension was so well built."
[7.0] "I wish Ishii could've been in the match, but it was still a good match. Miro got his time in the spotlight and Connors had his first exposure on a huge stage. I am glad that PAC won this and he stuck out in the match as the strongest person which is a sign of good booking. ***1/2"
[8.0] "It feels like NJPW booking, everything was super right. Miro, as a real mentor of God, showed everyone who is the father here, scattering and humiliating the young Clark Connors. For Clark, this is the biggest match and I can't imagine his emotions, because this is such an opportunity, I think this is the fastest development of events for a young lion in the history of NJPW. At the same time, he smoothly began to surprise in the ring, which betrayed a very original sequence to the match. As a result, everyone realized that it was necessary to destroy Miro and sort everything out one by one. As a result, in a bright and intriguing match, PAC was able to become a champion in AEW for the first time and leave with his head held high. A tearfully correct match!"

Miro in particular looked awesome here, dude was just unstoppable, and I loved watching him wreck people as always. Still, PAC winning was probably the right call as he's just amazing. ***3/4"
"One of the best matches of the night. Miro spent a lot of time dominating, really outshined Black in the wrecking department. Hopefully the beginning of a lot more of PAC singles action in AEW. Connors wasn't the guy everyone wanted, but he'll definitely climb the ranks in NJPW for his impressive performance."
[8.0] "Awesome match and outside of Clark Connors (who looked great) it was not so obvious who was going to win this one. The name is stupid but I think the idea of the belt is cool; maybe it should have Stardom SWA rules?"
[9.0] "Slightly biased as I am a big fan of all men involved in this match, especially PAC. All four guys did an exceptional job of making themselves and eachother look like absolute stars. Clark had very little reaction in this match but by the end the crowd were firmly behind him as the underdog. Miro came across looking like an absolute beast and PAC sold every move like it was fatal. Pleasantly surprised by the outcome of this match and the you deserved it chants were a nice moment."
[8.0] "This match was the start of an unbelievably great stretch of matches. All four guys pulled their weight and all brought something different. The match started out good and gradually built. Miro, who I wanted to win, was booked really strong, dominating large portions of the match until he was temporarily taken out by being speared through a table on the outside by Connors. Speaking of the table, from the moment Black produced the table this was excellent. When Miro recovered he was able to lock PAC in the game over and I legit thought it was over, until Malakai Black recovered and sprayed mist in Miro's face, which will hopefully start a feud between them. In the end PAC made Connors tap via the brutalizer and while he wasn't my first choice to win, I'm not disappointed at all and there's no doubt he deserves it. ****1/4"

[7.0] "A surprisingly memorable and exciting performance by Clark Connors highlights what's otherwise just a pretty standard four-way between good workers with nothing notable at stake."
[6.0] "This wasn't the best match we could've gotten for this PPV, but it was the best case scenario in terms of booking. Miro and Black were protected in defeat, and Connors gave a good underdog performance. This left PAC to get the win by pinning Connors so he could finally begin his push as a singles guy. PAC is a great inaugural champion despite my heart wanting it to be Miro or Black. I thought this was a solid multi-man match, and that's usually my opinion for this sort of thing. They're rarely anything more than decent. Black was good with his flashy strikes. I thought a few of them early on looked so-so with their impact, but his knees and kicks were getting great impact during the final 2/3rds. Miro was the star here with his beatdown work. I thought the submission tease of Miro's Camel Clutch on PAC was actually believable. Everything kicked up a notch after the table spot and we got some really fun exchanges in the final third. ***1/4"

Clark Connors was treated as a true youngboy in the beginning with his offence simply not working on everyone but then about the point where he speared Miro through the table he really shined and got the crowd behind him as the true underdog in the match. PAC and Black had great interactions, Miro was a great powerhouse and the result was correct. If someone deserves a title it's PAC, AEW original. Would the match have been better with Ishii in it? I mean, sure. But they did the best they could with the circumstances and Clark got a big chance and delivered. ****"
[8.0] "Much like Umino early on, another young NJPW wrestler gets to show his stuff- albeit to a lesser degree. Connors is a virtual unknown to anyone besides Strong viewers (there are dozens of us) and those of us who partook in the 4 am viewings of NJPW Road To shows back when he was still in Japan. Much of this match involves him getting his shit rocked while the three big boys handle each other (but mostly PAC). Miro looked unkillable here with how he presented himself. I think Black could have done more, but he still looked great. PAC finally getting his belt was an amazing moment, and his celebration afterwards felt incredibly genuine."
[8.0] "The match itself was decent, plenty of cool spots. Nothing truly outstanding, but still very solid work from all four contenders. Pac winning became a surprise for me, and a pleasant one. Man was underutilised in AEW, so this move can benefit not only Pac himself, but also Death Triangle as a stable. Also Miro looked very strong, caught hell of a lot of crossbody attempts in this one."
[8.0] "Finally, after 3 years, PAC finally picks up the title win. I was hoping for it and they didn't dissapoint. Miro looked like a star and lost no momentum coming out of the match. Clark was a great underdog and Malakai was just good."
[7.0] "This match had a little bit of everything without anything feeling out of place. It had the usual stuff you expect from a four-man contest, but the skill of the four men involved helped make it feel a little more improvised than some matches like this that have several pre-planned spots you can tell were rehearsed and discussed. Connors got a huge pop when he put Miro through a table with a Spear. The crowd chanted his name for a bit."
[8.0] "4 way matches can be a bit tricky to nail down but they structured this well enough to produce a good match. Connors who was the replacement for Ishii in this played his role as the underdog in this, had a great performance and he really impressed considering this was the first time I've ever seen him wrestle. Miro was easily the MVP here with power moves and brutal strikes throughout the match. Ending was well done with Miro finally being taken out via mist from Black, than Black got taken out via black arrow from Pac and afterwards Pac made the weakened Connor tap out to the brutalizer.Pac winning was well deserved.****"

This match was a bit of a guessing game, in the sense that it was hard to pick which wrestler would be booked to win. Miro looked like a dominant force, Malakai showed off his great martial arts inspired wrestling, PAC had great highflying and brutal strikes, and Clark Conners did a great job at replacing Ishii in this one, with his spear through the table being a highlight of the match. Lots of fun, and I'm happy that PAC is the first ever All-Atlantic Champion."

It would have been surprising if he'd won under the circumstances, but any of the other three could have done, and all looked like they might at different times. [8.0] "This match was all over the place, chaos everywhere. Yet where PAC was continually countered, he fought back and kept on fighting. In the end he found his opening to win. Malakai, Miro and PAC all deliver and Clark Connors was a pleasant surprise."
[8.0] "Another banger match on this card, my lord. Miro was kind of the star of the match here, but even Clark Connors (who I know fuck all about) was given moments to show out. Wondering if a Miro/Malakai feud is gonna come out of this. Good to see PAC pick up a belt."

Connors came in as the last-minute replacement but stole the show certainly by giving his breakout performance in the big league in his first ever attempt. Miro ruthlessly dominated the first half while PAC & Black showed their aggression at prominent times and told their own story that's left in the shadows. PAC stealing the right moment and becoming the inaugural champion is a fantastic move for a wrestler who was on the upper echelon since day one and his coronation as a champion right here is truly incredible. 4 out of 5 stars!"
[5.0] "Hot crowd, surprising but correct result, but I rarely can get into the 4-way structure. But this was a decent match considering. They utilise the four well enough, especially Connors who bumps and sells for everyone. Miro stood out as the real star of the match though. I think this would? ve worked much better as a singles match between PAC and Miro though. **3/4"
