[6.0] "I thought that this match was a little bit of a step for Sae compared to her first tournament match, which was against Nagisa, where she had a bland performance. However, I think she did well here, her work on top wasn't that bad actually, especially because Shimizu had a really good performance as underdog here. Shimizu's kicks were also great, they were stiff and looked really good."

[7.0] "This was a great match, it converted me to a believer in the concept of Kick block. Sae's kicks are decent, but Shimizu's are excellent, which makes me feel like Sae wanted to possibly show off more of her other moves, which are all pretty cool. The overall pacing of the match is fine, apart from a weird moment where the momentum slows down a couple minutes in (Sae starts doing chops on her opponent in the corner...) but the last minute of this is excellent & made me want to watch more singles matches from Shimizu."

[5.0] "This was somewhat disappointing. Shimizu did well, I really enjoyed her offence. Sae on the other hand was far off with most of her moves, the kicks were just awkward and she really failed to connect with me. **1/2"
