[7.0] "I think it is safe to say that this was the best jr tag title match of that very year up to the point this match happened, they went with a really quick pace and even tho it was a long bout, they mostly kept that pace throughout the match. Akira and TJP are a phenomenal team, they have a lot of synergy, they showed a lot of cool combination moves and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of these two together. My only issue it that this match was quite long with nearly 25 minutes, I don't think that it needed to be this long."
[8.0] "I was a bit skeptical due to the 25-minute length, but they've went well. Both teams have a pretty good chemistry while TJP was clearly the MVP. Another set of astonishing moves and superb heelwork. Akira was pretty good as well, I like his young punk energy. Taguchi and Wato put some good combinations as well and displayed some good fire, especially Wato, that was surely a showcase for the youngsters and they've delivered. Very energic contest, definitely, and a fresh showdown in the Junior divisio as well."
[9.0] "This was a fantastic tag team championship match. This was definitely the best match that both of these two teams have had so far. Akira and TJP make for an excellent team, and are fit to hold the belts, and Team 6 or 9 put up an excellent match to pass the belts over. Great stuff, I couldn't tell who would win near the end of it, which means the match did its job. 9/10"
[7.0] "Very good match, but almost completely thanks to the UE team. Akira and TJP really showed why they should have the belts here. Taguchi brought more or less nothing to the table for me and Wato was just...Wato. ***3/4"
[8.0] "The fight was difficult to perceive, it seemed quite long and the tension was present until the end of the fight, while it was hot and the intrigue remained until the very end, the fighters worked to the fullest and each participant held all sorts of tricks on their opponents. United Empire is taking another title for itself and it seems like things have improved for them, it's great. Ryusuke Taguchi fortunately forgot about his underpants and worked more on quality and honesty. Francesco Akira & TJP have worked out team techniques and now look great when it comes to force positioning. In general, you can safely praise the match and record the fight in the list of one of the best team matches this year for NJPW, there was everything we love from these fighters."
[6.0] "A good match and title change, particularly as they cut out all of Taguchi's usual schtick. It still ran a bit long which is the only thing keeping it from rating higher. Hopefully a sign of promising things to come in the division. ***1/4"
[7.0] "Really interesting Junior tag team title match, especially in its finishing stretch, with the right result. The heel performance of TJP was good as always, Wato and Taguchi used some good tag combinations to make this match pleasant to match in its wholeness. Very cool main event. ***1/4"
[9.0] "An excellent main event match between two great junior tag teams. Wato and Taguchi were a good champion team with a solid run, and they put over UE very well. TJP is buttery smooth and has improved tremendously since his heel turn, and with the equally talented and athletic high flyer Francesco Akira by his side this couldn't NOT be an amazing team. Excellent work from all men involved!"
