Charles Crowley vs. Charlie Dempsey

[7.0] "The tough start of the tournament and of course Charlie Dempsey gives us similar content and he, like a real fighter, consistently holds the bar. It's the first time I've seen Charles Crowley, but he has potential if he keeps trying. Some moments even surprised me and I was shocked by the steadfastness of the fighters, throws and punches were ringing and relevant. Dempsey is the favorite to win."

[7.0] "Strong opener between Dempsey and Crowley here which I just had expectations for due to the presence of the brilliant & talented Charlie Dempsey who's surely one of the best young prospects WWE has in its possession, I was very much looking forward to seeing him in a different setting than NXT UK and even more so to see him compete in such a prestigious tournament as PROGRESS' Super Strong Style. Also very happy not to see him go out in the first round to someone as random as Crowley, who I didn't know before this match but who didn't transcend me either, I mean he can go between the ropes but he's not really exciting to watch. He may have done a solid job of making Dempsey shine but the latter was the only really interesting guy to watch in this opening match of this tournament, he got another great showing and once again impressed me with some really incredible submissions."
