Kendo Kashin vs. The Great Sasuke

[5.0] "Average match, Kashin barely does anything outside of some submissions, while Sasuke hits some decent moves, but nothing interesting happens"

[5.0] "Sasuke is by the biggest threat Kashin has had thus far in his Jr heavyweight reign of terror and unlike some of the other matches, this feels like it could actually go either way. The start of this is typical routines by Kashin at this point: the finger biting, the dragon sleeper exchanges into reverse DDT, etc etc. Not really anything that interesting. They do some outside stuff that didn't really do a lot and what it did do wasn't very exciting. Sasuke sells head damage until he doesn't and just goes into a springboard back kick, through he does then sell after a Enzuigiri shot. Kashin argues with a dude outside long enough for Sasuke to land a spinning back kick to his, well, back, but Kashin dodges a running dive and Sasuke crashes onto the ramp in a safeish bump, but he quickly recovers to land more kicks and a moonsault off the ramp. It's a weird match because Sasuke will spend maybe a few seconds selling his head but then do bonkers spots over and over; basically the Manami Toyota style of selling, which I despise greatly. It doesn't really play much of a factor here anyway as Kashin focuses in on his submission gameplan rather than focusing on that, so I'm not sure what they were going for. Kashin lands his usual stuff well alongside some old moves (like his rolling cradle into kneebar) but mostly sells for Sasuke's offence, which is at times a bit sloppy but mostly hits the mark. The finish is a bit out of nowhere as Kashin lands his headscissors choke in the corner, aims for a roll-up, Sasuke kicks out, he goes into a cross armbreaker, Sasuke reverses into a pin, but then Kashin just gets it on anyway for the win. Really didn't get what they were going for here: Sasuke is all over the place in terms of work and Kashin is probably at his most lethargic in terms of interest.
