Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk

[4.0] "[2.25*] That was an adequate match, it's very far from their classic in payback in every term, this was whatever I feel, I didn't get something here to make me go higher for my rating."

[8.0] "This was a really good match that had the main event spotlight on Raw without any hype or backstory between these two and delivered its purpose. Their 2012 series was something I loved to see and I had pretty high expectations and these two didn't disappoint. The regular TV constraints might've hurt the flow but it was still a great match that had the story of Punk trying to revitalize his footing told well. The crowd was great and were vocal till the last minute. Punk vs. Jericho is one of the most underrated rivalries to be honest as both had great chemistry in the mic as well as with the mic. 3.75 out of 5 stars!"

[6.0] "Good match with a lot of interesting counters, the tension remains high thanks to the charisma of both and thanks to the crowd who have always remained interested, but it's just the usual "tv match", with nothing worth mentioning. Jericho and Punk made much better during their feud in 2012."

[6.0] "The fans voted for this match-up, nothing really at stake here. They had a pretty good TV match though."

[7.0] "Definitely MUCH better than their 2012 PPV matches. I really like Punk's heat segment on Y2J here; he is awesome with his facial expressions throughout, and he has a nice gameplan in going after Jericho's neck. His work over that neck w/ the cravate, those leg drops, neckbreakers etc is pretty great. That whole section is most certainly my favorite part of the whole thing. Jericho's full-on comeback isn't really interesting at all, and as that bit gets done, they essentially kick the match into its final act w/ it being more even and big moves & counters being bust out for them nearfalls n' all. Didn't care for that stuff too much - it's not bad though, and I do think that Jericho's last GTS counter into the Walls of Jericho was pretty neat. Good match for sure & like I said, miles ahead of their bad PPV matches of the past, even if it's carried by Punk's awesome work on top for the most part."
