[7.0] "Solid opener that the crowd was on fire for. Really fast pace with good storytelling and tension between these two factions. I thought the finish was pretty cool with Stacks basically being unconscious but being pushed onto a fallen Legado member for the finish. Solid 3 star match."
[7.0] "A great opener that sets the crowd on fire, especially the Legado. I really liked the game of looks between D'Angelo and Escobar during the first two minutes, each in their own corner. An original finish that I loved, thats a change. (3*1/2)"
[8.0] "A red-hot opener between two mafia inspired gangs that were taking the scene over for a while. Both teams were looking great in action and had the crowd pumped up till the end. LDF were the experienced ones but no disrespect on Tony & his street mates who did a commendable work countering the offense of the veteran trio. The ending made sense as per the story, but it should've flipped to the other way, that is, LDF winning and Tony's gang joining them. But it is what it is. 3.75 out of 5 stars!"
[7.0] "A good match is a worthy confrontation of gangsters. Legado del Fantasma were certainly brighter and their experience cannot be denied. All their actions aroused interest. Unfortunately, they lost due to various distractions. Santos Escobar worked out the match very well on psychology and in general I saw the emotions of the confrontation. A good start for the show! Fresh and fun. Troy Donovan and Channing Lorenzo still need to gain experience, but Tony D has long ceased to surprise me, unfortunately."
[8.0] "I though this was a very intertaining opener to the show and both tag teams had great chemistry. The match was really entertaining and fast pace. ****1/4"
[8.0] "Really entertaining match that blew my expectations away completely. Two really fun stables colliding, the loser having to join the winners stable. Lot of good action all around, I really loved the offense from Stacks and Two Dimes, they're an entertaining team. Solid spots, entertaining and close moments, just a fun six-man tag match. The finish was pretty cool as well, with the crowbar being involved to stop Santos from using the Brass Knuckles. Right result as well. Solid match to kick off this pay-per-view. I wonder what direction they'll go with this. [****]"
[7.0] "Pretty good opener here, with LDF doing a good job of making Tony and co look solid despite their lack of experience. Not sure where things will go from here with the storyline, but the match did its job of getting the crowd hyped for the show."
[7.0] "Fun opener with a fast pace and some pretty solid action all around. They did a good job of masking the limitations of Lorenzo and Donovan, with LDF carrying much of the match. The crowd was invested, they really built this program pretty well both in the ring and with the vignettes and it showed once it came time to pay it off."
[7.0] "Very good opener, with LDF getting the best out of their opponents. They're one of the best acts in 2.0. I remember Donovan and Lorenzo as Cole Karter and Jake Tucker from AEW Dark and they were signed by WWE as rookies with a bit of indie experience beforehand. They looked decent here. Even Tony D is progressing in the ring. Trouble is this dumb stipulation and Tony's gimmick is an outdated New Generation retread that I thought WWE moved away from by the late 90s. The outcome means LDF will likely be undermined by being saddled with this silly faux Mafia outfit. I have little faith in main roster management treating them any better."
[8.0] "Great match that was unfortunately saddled with a horrible stipulation that was only made worse by the outcome. Legado Del Fantasma are unreal, they could wrestle a sack of potatoes and make it look good. On the other side of the ring, The Goons perfomed admirably and did play their part, but there isn't any other combination on the roster they could have had this level of match with. Ultimately LDF lost and will now be a part of D'Angelo's clown show, which is a disaster. I'm sure LDF will now become a joke rather than the stars they are and worse still, it will probably lead to, at the least, Santos' exit from NXT, which is not good for me at all. Implications of the result aside though, this was great and definitely the match of the night."
[6.0] "It was a pretty nice opener. Didn't know Lorenzo and Donovan at all before the match and they did okay. Legado clearly call the action and make it work well."
[9.0] "They exceeded my expectations. I never thought it would be as good of a match. Aspecially D'Angleo's guys proved they are capable wrestler and may go far at least in tag team division. Match is also bumped by creative finish. LDF joins D'Angelo Family... I'm interested to see where this is going."
[9.0] "A great start. Maximum intensity and beautiful maneuvers. Good storytelling. I really enjoyed watching this match, they are all very good talents."
[8.0] "This was a very good opener. Crowd was hot, Legado brought the best out of Tony and his family in this one. Tony's bumping and selling were awesome, and the tag team chemistry Lorenzo and Donovan have already developed is crazy. The finishing stretch was a bit overbooked, but this was never going to end clean. Good match. [***3/4]"
[8.0] "this match had no reason to be this good, Lorenzo and Troy did fantastically in the match, great ending, an interesting choice to have the family beat LDF"
[8.0] "This opening match had absolutely no reason to be so good, I was shocked at how red hot the crowd was for this match, by far the most they were in front of all night and it was really something unexpected even though I know all these guys are usually very popular in the CWC. I think this rivalry is so entertaining and refreshing that the fans on that little arena are just happy and play along, they were a big factor in the success of this opener. There was a pretty cool stipulation with the losing team joining the other family, which indicates that the rivalry is not over and I think it's great that it's still going on, so there was a real stake. And on top of that, the action was really cool to watch, always fluid in their work and always something to look forward to, never a dull moment. Everyone performed well and it was a golden opportunity for Stacks & Two Dimes, which they took with flying colours to make a name for themselves."
[9.0] "Stacks and Two Dimes were signed like, 3 months ago and are already this good. What the hell changed at the PC? One of the most clever match finishes I've ever seen. Crowd is RED HOT for LDF. Santos especially is on another level, he should probably be called up when this feud is done (wargames match? )"
