[7.0] "That's wrestling energy. Just a crazy match with bright performers. That's really cool. Nathan Frazer is a real nugget of NXT that needs to be appreciated! Cameron Grimes, as one of the most experienced in NXT, undoubtedly shows a decent show that many people may like. A tough fight that has been missing since the beginning of the show."
[6.0] "Not a bad match from the point of view that this match was on the weekly. And also in the main event. That's cool. I didn't have enough storytelling, technology. We all know that these wrestlers can fly, but we are already tired of it... ***1/4"
[8.0] "Damn this was good, Frazer is fast as hell and absolutely doing gold so far on NXT. Cameron is doing great as champion and this match was just brilliant. Melo and Trick on commentary was fine too. Great match giving Grimes momentum before his title match at In Your House."
[9.0] "Absolute banger of a match between Grimes and Frazer here for which I had expectations which were completely fulfilled in front of the fantastic match that these two great performers offered us to close this show, by far the best match of the evening and it will surely be one of the best of the week at the end of it. In the style of a spotfest on TV it was perhaps the most qualitative match we've seen this year alongside Fenix vs Dante Martin and A-Kid vs Strong vs Grimes from a few weeks ago, it won't be to everyone's taste of course but it was fucking satisfying & impressive to watch from bell-to-bell. Everything they did was phenomenal, all their sequences were creative and executed so fluidly that I never wanted it to end. Their styles blended together as smoothly as honey and everything they did was a thing of beauty, Grimes continues to be the most interesting element of NXT with his North American title and this was a brilliant match to give him momentum going into Saturday."
[9.0] "Nathan Frazier is legitimately unbelievable. He moves so fast yet he lands everything with perfect precision. I have not seen anything like this in WWE before. Legitimately blew my mind on some spots. He can sell too which is incredible. They need to do well by him man"
[5.0] "The last 2 minutes were the only part of this I enjoyed. From the outset it felt like they were trying way too hard to make this a classic match and as a result there were stumbles, timing issues and moves that didn't look good or were just unnecessary. Frazer has great speed and it's mostly an asset, but sometimes he's too fast for his own good and that was on display here. The last couple of minutes though were legitimately good, with some nice strikes and some well executed moves. Another problem for me was the commentary, if they called more than two moves during the entire match I'd be shocked. Commentary on NXT is always bad, but whenever they have Hayes and Williams on guest commentary it's at its absolute worst."
[7.0] "Good showcase for Nathan Frazer against Cameron Grimes, it was meant as a tuneup for Grimes to prepare for Carmelo Hayes at In Your House, but Frazer got a lot out of his loss here, he's more for the long-term."
[8.0] "Really good, as expected. This match barely surpassed the ten minute mark but packed a lot of great action. Both participants looked strong by the end of the match, with Frazer giving it all to get an upset by defeating Grimes, and Cameron showing his usual resilliance to face that. The champion wins and gets some good momentum ahead of his title defense, which was the right thing to do. [***1/2]"
