[10.0] "Perhaps the best match between these two is this one. First, Moxley came and cut a great promo, and then Danielson entered, and the start of the match, as we expect, was very violent and fast, according to Moxley's promo, to the point that Bryan's head started bleeding, and after this, we saw a very good storytelling of the blows on the heads of both wrestlers. Throughout the match, Moxley worked very well on Danielson's hand, and Danielson's sell was also great. Overall, submissions were used a lot throughout the match, and all the blows were great for storytelling, and I must say that the atmosphere in the hall was very good and everyone was chanting the Dragon slogan. And finally, the ending of the match was great and ended as I expected."

[8.0] "[****] 14 years before mox would kill his former blackpool combat club teammate, bryan danielson, in the middle of the ring and cleanse all elite wrestling--the two would face off in a dragongate ring. and istg, in the first 5 minutes of this ring, danielson was this close to dying. the match is fast paced, violent and competitive off rip with danielson bleeding just from mox's strikes. two different wrestling philosophies that simply meshed well good together, genuinely feel like these two were born to face one another. loved the submission work and the lil 'fighting spirit' energy with the two being this close to completely passing out, had me going crazy. very fun stuff."

[7.0] "This was the first time I truly enjoyed one of Moxley's DGUSA matches. Danielson immediately took the match to Moxley, showing fantastic strikes and almost unlimited energy. Moxley's brawling was great where paired with Danielson's tremendous selling. His work on Danielson's arm was also very good, making Moxley look intelligent for how he was hindering Danielson's various signature moves that utilise his arm. For once, I had more to appreciate about Moxley instead of just his natural heel charisma, which I really got sick of being the one thing I could enjoy about him. Danielson always showed great passion in his comebacks, coming off as a fantastic fiery babyface. He truly is one of those guys who was just born to be a wrestler. Moxley also deserves props for being a great heel to counter Danielson. I wonder if any more DGUSA wrestlers can brought this level of quality out of Moxley in future events. ***3/4"

[9.0] "Moxley had been talking mad shit about Danielson leading up to this, which made the opening w/ Dragon just easily cycling through his signature spots, kicking his ass, feel all the more better. Moxley taking over was done well, and I loved how he went straight after the cut on Bryan's head when he noticed the blood there. His selling of everything Bryan did was super good too; Bryan blasting him with those deadly kicks, uppercuts n' forearms would be great in any situation, but thanks to Moxley's awesome, character-fitting selling, it was even greater. The finishing stretch with Bryan destroying him with those kicks, stomps to the face & ultimately the LeBell Lock rules as well. Great match. Moxley more-than delivered as the scrappy, violence lovin' street fighter looking to pull off the upset & Dragon was a rockin' babyface to go against that."

[7.0] "I am not enamored with this match, as it stripped all of the wrestling acumen of both men and focused solely on brawling. Now, said brawling was quite good and the intensity was very present, but they could have incorporated more of their varied arsenal into it. Still a good match, but not a DGUSA "Semi-Main Event Special" wonder. The Farewell Speech by Danielson was also appreciated."

[8.0] "A final hurrah for Bryan in DGUSA, and a great way to go out as well. Moxley cut an awesome promo leading up to this match that I recommend everyone to watch before watching this, it gives the match just a few more nice layers. This match had great storytelling with Moxley not allowing Bryan to work his specialty technical type of match, and instead went for a brawling approach by beating the shit out of Bryan in and out of the ring. You have to really admire Bryan's passion for the indies since he actually bladed himself to add that extra intensity to the match. The final few minutes are great with Moxley desperately doing whatever he could to keep Bryan down, but Dragon came back and put Moxley in his place for the bittersweet win, ****1/4."

[9.0] "For this being Danielson's last match in DGUSA he sure wanted to go out with a bang! I would be safe to say that this is probably my favorite Moxley/Ambrose singles match EVER as he really shines here and not only shows his vicious streak but also showcases some technical ability as well as he picks apart the right arm of Bryan Danielson in an attempt to lock on the crossface Chickenwing and get the victory but that was not to be as Danielson overcomes the offense of Moxley while being a bloody mess and thus hits a Knockout kick on Moxley and then proceeds to kick his head in as well then applies the Labell Lock and forces Moxley to tap. Overall I must say this was a tremendous outing by Moxley and another outstanding match by Bryan Danielson as he exits DGUSA. ****1/4"
