[9.0] "Awesome brutal match to end a awesome brutal feud. Having some MMA guy there was pretty unnecessary but thats a minor thing. James Storm bleeds like no one else when its time for blood, the texas death match with Harris and this, he knows how to bleed big or go home. There was an exchange with the trash can lids where they took turns whacking each other in the head while saying fuck you, awesome. There was thumbtacks, and great storytelling with the bottles. The crowd was very into this and so was I. Im usually not a fan of Bobby Roode matches cause hes like Orton where hes the slow heel but he was great here. I do kinda wish it was longer and we got some more violent stuff like a staple gun but thats a minor complaint. Its so funny that Dave gave this 3 and a half where as in OTHER companies now, he gives these violent matches 5 stars....wonder why. Anyway this was great"

[8.0] "It's impossible to remember this match without immediately visualisng Storm's crimson mask, one of TNA's most striking images. The match itself is right there with it too, providing a poetic conclusion to Beer Money's singles rivarly. Roode gets his comeuppance, going out like a true villain after being utterly irredeemable beforehand. He's a nasty, spiteful heel here, only emphasising the babyface fire of Storm. Even as they lean into the weaponry, their intent is palpable, tying the set pieces together with sheer hatred. At one point, this was presumably pencilled in as the main event and it's very much wrestled with the resentment of a replacement. To be fair, Phoenix receives it that way too. Memorable blow-off match, justice drenched in blood. ****"

[9.0] "Awesome match right here between Roode and Storm, better than any of their previous matches and clearly worthy of the tag team run they'd been giving us all these years, this is how you end a rivalry and get your babyface to win, everything from the action to the booking was absolutely perfect. Not to mention the spots, which were violent, bloody and all equally well executed. The fact that Storm was never an indisputable star after this match is beyond me, TNA was holding gold in their hands and this match was an absolutely fantastic spectactle. The ultimate Beer Money Inc. showdown, as brutal as it was exciting, great storytelling and an awesome moment for Storm, who finally got his revenge."

[8.0] "very confused on why King Mo is apart of this, I get why he was apart of the lead up but he was just standing there during the match. an enforcer a street fight lol the actual match didn't have the flashiest of wrestling. it was more of a regular match but with extreme spots. like the spine buster onto the ramp or the super kick into thumb tacks. thats not knocking the match at all though cause it felt smooth as hell. the emotion came out and all I knew was the 2 minute video before hand. incredible effort from them all of it is enhanced by the insane blade job James Storm did. made for some insane visuals like him spitting blood out of his mouth while staggering to get up. but it was a very obvious blade job because it cut to deep. not sure wether I liked the moment itself but like I said, it did enhance the match"

[9.0] "Great, bloody brawl between two men with nothing but hate for eachother. This match is another showcase for James Storm's great ability to wrestle in violent matches, see his Texas Deathmatch against Chris Harris as another example. Storm bleed a lot in this one, taking some gross looking shots to the head that build up an atmosphere of hatred between the opponents. Roode is also great in this, selling well when he needs to and hitting big moves, such as a Spear through the announcer table. King Mo is both inoffensive and useless, taking nothing away yet adding mostly nothing to this match. This match gets a great reaction from the crowd, who pop big for both men and the near falls that take place. The finish to this match was awesome and brutal, helped by Roode selling like death for the Last Call Superkick. Overall, if you enjoyed the Texas Deathmatch between Harris & Storm earlier in Storm's career, then you will love this violent and brutal contest. - ****3/4"

[9.0] "A very underrated match. Two veteran athletes giving their all and more. Wild blade job from Storm around the 4 minute mark. The trashcan lid exchange spots along with the table spot were sweet. Truly one of the last "Great" TNA matches. A great conclusion to a good story between former friends/tag partners. 17 minutes of pure awesomeness. A must see match."

[10.0] "Honestly one of my favorite matches ever. All time blade job by Storm. The heat is palpable. The tease with the glass table. King Mo’s amazing reaction to the ramp stuff. Spinebuster on the (rasied! ) ramp! The hardcore aspect, the thumbtacks. All time great personality injected by Roode, and spectacular bumping and selling. Everything clicks, a perfect end to this excellent feud."

[8.0] "A really bloody and brutal brawl between two fantastic wrestlers with a fantastic fued up until this point. A lot of brutal spots like the spinebuster or the stage and the fall into the tacks, along with Roode being a fantastic cowardly heel makes this a highly enjoyable brawl."

[9.0] "King Mo is an MMA Fighter who is serving as the Special Enforcer for.... some reason. Anyway, Storm & Roode went on to have a very brutal match. Just a very vicious contest, but in the context of the feud, it was very fitting way to cap off their year long rivalry. Thankfully, the King Mo stuff was kept to a relative minimum and James Storm would get the win."
