[6.0] "Very good match. Came pretty close to getting 7 points from me. It might have gotten there if it was a little shorter or had a little bit less wasted time. The middle is where it suffers. It started okay and ended great, but the middle is filled with a long chin lock and a lot of purposeless moves. I really liked the striking and brawling parts. When they were going back and forth, they really made it feel like a slugfest. The throws into the barricade felt very intense as well. A lot to like here, and this is one where I totally understand the higher marks others have given it. It was just a little shy for me. A bit more storytelling and less random moves would have gotten it there. I can see myself coming back to this one and maybe giving it a slightly higher score."

[9.0] "A fantastic match between both men with some really amazing and clean in ring work and spots and their chemistry was really great with Dolph showing just how much of a really good 2012 he truly had."

I really liked the escalating since of physicality between the two as they both struggled to gain the advantage. The spot where Orton flung Ziggler in to the barricade looked great - Dolph really bumped his ass off. A good example of how much potential Ziggler had at the time."

[8.0] "This was a great 50/50 match in which no one man was distinctly able to single handly gain control in this until the end. When it appeared as if Ziggler or Orton was going to get the upper hand in this they would always be cut off leading to some nice near falls. The spot where they traded back and forth punches, twice in this match was great. Orton finally gains the upper hand at the end when he hits the hangman DDT off of the barricade, Dolph sold it to perfection. But when they get back in the ring Ziggler was able to cut off the Rko into a rollup, even getting Orton into a sleeper for a bit. Orton won with a pop-up RKO when Ziggler .****"

[8.0] "This was a tremendous, crispy clean professional wrestling match between the veteran and the slowly rising breakout star. They went with the 50/50 route, meaning no one gets a clear advantage over the other, and it worked shockingly well. The continual cut of each other's momentum was excellent. The pacing was impressive, nothing ever dragged out far too long. Great shift of momentum swinging back and forth at a minimum stride. The finish was a bit sudden, but didn't look out of place in the slightest. Of course, the MITB holder lost a match when they held the briefcase, but that's WWE logic for ya! [****]"

[9.0] "Awesome match, this match really sold me on Ziggler as a legit wrestler, he looked very good in defeat. One could argue that he spent too much time on the receiving end in this match, firstly he was wrestling against Randy Orton a nine time world champ, secondly he was a heel and this was a payoff match so it made sense for Orton to have more of the offence. The hangman DDT off the barricade looked absolutely insane and Ziggler sold it so well."
