Masakatsu Funaki vs. Yoshiaki Fujiwara

[4.0] "This is the first singles match between these two since 1991 and it really peaked my interest when I found out it happened. As you would expect in 2019 and on a show of this nature, Funaki & Fujiwara work what is essentially an exhibition. Almost the entirety of the match is spent on the mat with each man trading holds - Funaki going for the cross armbar on multiple occasions whereas Fujiwara targeted Funaki's ankle. After about 5 minutes of serviceable mat work, both men get to their feet and Fujiwara slaps Funaki, Funaki swings in response but Fujiwara ducks into his patented armbar. After Funaki escapes, it's back to the feet again and this time Funaki takes the advantage with leg kicks which really trouble Fujiwara in his old age. Funaki then puts on a leglock. Fujiwara also grabs Funaki's leg so that both men have each other in a leglock. Eventually though, Funaki's youth and strength relative to Fujiwara were too much and Fujiwara gives up. (2*)"
