[6.0] "The crowd is less hot without a Bruno/Larry match. Hogan is more dominant at first and Bob had to work to get on top. Bob sells more but the crowd is not very here (and Hogan heat work is not tip top). Bob works the leg. The match is smartly worked but I don't feel the same than the match before. Better finish and a good promo by the champ."
[8.0] "This is a rematch from their April encounter where Hogan won by count-out after Backlund got dazed doing his airplane spin. They began this more of the same as their first match, with Hogan using his size advantage to gain the upper hand while Backlund sneaked a couple of hope spots in. Hogan went after Backlund's arm, though that was merely filler and was dropped afterward. Bob, in return, retaliated by going for Hulk's leg. Backlund was so lively during his leg work segment, injecting tons of energy into it by wrenching on the leg furiously. Hogan sold it very consistently, constantly limping and indicating his leg was hurt. The finish was sublime, too. Backlund learned from his previous mistake, and this time he changed strategy, blasting Hogan with a series of dropkicks to send him outside for the count-out victory instead of trying to power him. There were a few empty spots for me to put it above their bout last month, but this is a worthy sequel on its own. [***3/4]"
