[6.0] "To me, this felt like your average multi women stardom tag match, just in very long. I think the action wasn't that interesting that you could warrant such a long duration and that's why I really struggled to be invested all the way through. Given, both Mina and Tam were really good here, Mina is literally the MVP of this bout, however MaiHimePoi probably had their weakest showing during their reigns so far in this match. They could've easily compressed this into a 15-minutes match and it would've slapped but nah they had to a wannabe big match for some reason and it just didn't work, because as I said, they didn't put in enough effort in order to make it feel big."
[7.0] "This was a fun match, both teams work well with and against each other and are great trios. That being said, there's no reason this should have ended in a 30 minute draw, and it definitely overstayed its welcome. DDM has already beaten Cosmic Angels for the belts and they ended up losing the following defense to someone that not Tam/Unagi/Mina. There's no reason they couldn't have had a clean finish and it honestly made me care less about this. Good action, poor booking."
[9.0] "This was an excellent trios match between arguably the two strongest teams in the division's history. A win for Maihimepoi here means they tie Couzen's record for most defenses so more than just the titles were at stake. There was so much amazing content packed into 30 minutes, all so impeccably paced and arranged that it hardly felt like its runtime. The moment where Unagi and Mina prepared the launch pad for Tam but Tam was too damaged to complete the move so they quickly improvised was so great. The teamwork and split-second coordination by both teams was outstanding. Closing moments between Tam and Natsupoi, who went back and forth with heavy bombs, with occasional assists from their partners, were spectacular. ****1/4"
[6.0] "They tried to sell this match as a showdown between equals, but that finishing stretch between Natsupoi and Nakano really felt like it went 30 minutes because it dragged forever. '6' is a rating for this match that sense to me because four other wrestlers worked hard and made this match interesting while they were there."
[7.0] "With the honor of tying the Angels for the most successful defenses on-the-line, and the memory of CHAOS's great reign still fresh in-my-mind, I found this a major match and one of my most anticipated as spring action climaxes. I am surprised but pleased it was placed in a major city yet one Stardom rarely travels. The whole show is certainly a different visual aesthetic than that of Dragon Gate. A long, steady, unspectacular, but mature bout with Tam coming-off as both the bout's matriarch and yet positively left me feeling that w/ of all her recent losses, she was deserving to go-over, especially on Poi after that sick looking screwdriver. 3 3/5 7.3 - 7.4"
[9.0] "Almost let the low-budget production, with just a couple of cameras shooting up from mat level close enough to pick up a lot of communication, scare me off from this one, but I'm so glad it didn't. Fast and furious action with a bunch of delightful spots. Just totally engrossing for almost all of the 30 minutes, and exactly what people are talking about when they claim trios as the best form of wrestling."
[8.0] "This was a cool struggle of a title match where it was who wanted it more between the best and my favourite two trios in Stardom. I enjoyed it but unfortunately the ending third where they clearly underestimated how much time they had left kind of spoiled it a bit."
[8.0] "This is probably the most important Artist of Stardom Title Match ever, it had such a powerful energy and build to it, not only that, but the in-ring action was unstoppable and really great! Tam Nakano and Natsupoi exchanging strikes and moves was top notch, easily the best thing in this entire bout. My favourite thing in here was definitely Tam not being able to hit her Crossbody with the aid of Mina Shirakawa and Unagi Sayaka, it was just a simple detail, but it told so much about this match. I'd totally recommend this match to any wrestling fan. ****1/4"
[9.0] "RIght away this match had an aura to it that the others matches on the show did not have. Cosmic Angels vs. Donna Del Mondo clearly has to be the best rivalry in all of Stardom. This is one of the best Multi-person Tag matches of 2022, men & women combined. Whether it's Tam vs. Giulia, Tam vs. Natsupoi, Unagi vs. Maika (as they clearly do not like each other), the playful rivalry between Mina Shirakawa & Thekla, or a Multi-person Tag like this one, Cosmic Angels vs. DDM simply can't miss. Also, Mai Sakurai left Cosmic Angels for DDM, and Tam Nakano & Waka Tsukiyama took that very personally. To see Cosmic Angels attack MaiHimePoi right away as soon as the bell rung told me right away that this match was going to be a war, and it sure was. Because coming from The Angels, I would not expect that, coming from Oedo Tai (the rebellious thugs) I would expect that. This all about The Angels being hell bent on stopping DDM members from tying their Artist Trios Title defense record, but in the end, I glad it went to a draw so that they can run this back all over again. Again, Cosmic Angels vs. DDM is the best rivalry in Stardom. Rating for this match: ****1/2"
[7.0] "This match was saved by brilliance of Nakano, because the ending was absolutely epic. The first half wasn't really good, it was even weird a bit. But from the moment Nakano and Natsupoi began interacting, the match became exciting. Great selling and fighting spirit. Of course, Poi deserves praise too. Almost 8 for me."
[7.0] "This was fine. Absolutely fine, but Cosmic Angels are not it. Look, Mina unfortunately for one reason or another has regressed, Unagi has improved but they aren't some top workers. MaiHimePoi are fantastic, per usual, but this did NOT need to be a draw. What happened in 2021 worked because MaiHimePoi were gonna win eventually... I have to believe Rossy isn't dumb enough to give Cosmic Angels the belts back, so... just have Mina be pinned. It isn't hard. ***"
[8.0] "We absolutely did not need another draw but this match was still really good. I thought Tam and Poi's exchanges were PPV level action and the clear highlight of the match. Was very surprised seeing them go this hard on a house show, some of the hits were nasty. Poi's bumping and selling was spectacular, especially on the Violet Shooting. I thought Mina and Himeka also had some good exchanges. I'm guessing Oedo Tai win the belts next and I'm cool with that. ***3/4"
[7.0] "Of course this went to a draw. This is the third title match between these two teams in the past year and the second time they've gone to a 30-minute draw. When they faced off last May, the Cosmic Angels were trying to set a new record for title defenses and had to retain MaiHimePoi to do it. That match went to a draw so while the Cosmic Angels set the new record, they didn't do it with a win. MaiHimePoi got a rematch in October and won, thereby snapping the Cosmic Angels' streak of successful defenses at 7. Now, MaiHimePoi were looking to match the Cosmic Angels record of seven title defenses, and would have to retain against the Cosmic Angels to do it. So what does Stardom do? They book another 30-minute draw! Just like the Cosmic Angels accomplished their goal without beating MaiHimePoi, the opposing team did the same this time, with the exact same result. The difference of course is that MaiHimePoi's reign isn't going to end at the hands of the team they went to a draw with. So while I get what Stardom was going for, I didn't like it and thought it was predictable and forced. Narrative aside, this was a better match than the draw they had last May. It still dragged though, like 90% of 30-minute matches do. If you don't want to watch a 30-minute match with no winner, just watch the final five minutes and save your time."
