| 02.04.2025 | Janii | 8.0 | Interesting match-up I was really looking foward to, I'm pleased with the endproduct even if my expectations weren't 100% met, but as usual Ospreay put on an excellent performance, he showed a much more sadistic side against Moxley and as obligatory with Moxley, both of them got busted open like literally not even 10 minutes in and on top of that Moxley got busted even a second time and he was gushing, like Ospreay was smeared in Moxley's blood rather than his own. I didn't like the finish tho, I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but I suppose it was given that the ZSJ match from the NJC from the same year ended pretty much the same, very weird way to protect Ospreay, aside from that I really liked this match. |

| 08.12.2024 | BoltsFan2132 | 9.0 | A fantastic match that had a little bit of everything and absolutely the match of the night. The Elbow Drop over the barricade and through the announce table was an awesome spot but my personal favorite was when Opsreay countered a Clothesline into a Powerbomb near the end of the match. Moxley bleeding all over the place was a great visual and this was a super hard fought and crowd pleasing match. Solid 4 stars. |

| 14.10.2024 | Styles619 | 9.0 | This was an excellent match. Will Ospreay was arguably already the best in the world by this point. His match with Jon Moxley was different than other matches he's had. This match was more of a fight, with both men bleeding and doing more brawling than we usually see Ospreay do. There was a great spot where Ospreay did a top rope elbow to the floor where Moxley was on a table. The only blemish on this match was the finish, which looks like the referee screwed up. Moxley hit the Death Rider and despite Ospreay kicking out at the last possible moment, the referee called for the bell and you can tell it wasn't supposed to happen as Moxley immediately went for a choke that Ospreay tapped out to right away. Still, this match was awesome and I hope to see these two have a rematch in AEW at some point, possibly for the AEW Championship. ****1/2 |
| 05.09.2024 | danzitorock | 9.0 | Absolutely loved this match... Mox and Ospreay wrestled a very unique kind of match here, a complete war between those two, a match with a lot of brawls. This is very different from what Ospreay is used to do, which is very nice. It was a violent contest, and you could feel how much they were trying to hurt each other... a match with a tough epic battle vibe. Unfortunately there was a botchy ending, but I think both handle it pretty well, with Ospreay taping out on the sequence to look like he was done and Moxley doing a finisher on the ref. They managed to minimize the botch and do an excellent battle. The only bad feeling about this is if it lasted longer could've been even better - {****1/4} |
| 02.09.2024 | crs285 | 9.0 | Moxley main eventing now equals blading. These two both had great offense throughout the matchup with their styles meshing well. Back handspring suplex was done well and was a nice visual spot. Liked the United Empire fanning Ospreay on the outside. Ospreay kicking out and flipping off the crowd was a nice touch. Thought the final couple minutes were great. |

| 22.07.2024 | rinyald | 7.0 | Ospreay really brings some much appreciated energy and brutality out of Moxley, and all of the offense looks amazing in this match. It's a shame the finish is a little screwy and how noticeable the blading is from Moxley (with no help from the camera men). It definitely feels kick out spammy but it was fun regardless. |

I knew that this is gonna be a perfect match according to their capabilities, and it turned out a very brutal and exciting fight, as I was expecting! but the ending was a bit bizarre, because Ospreay kicked out at 2.99, and it wasn't perfectly 3! the referee made a mistake! Ospreay's Elbow Drop was astonishing and unbelievable, and I didn't think that he's gonna actually do it! totally, I enjoyed it very much, but the ending was kinda unacceptable. (****1/2) |

The action was never dragged and the match was fun with many memorable moments and amazing sequences. The botched finish hurts the match but this remanis a banger that a lot of people sleep on. 9/10 - 4.75*/5* |

| 21.02.2023 | Fillosetti | 9.0 | On paper a match between Moxley and Ospreay is a really interesting mix of styles....and it was in practice too. A damn good match, full of hard hits, breathtaking spots and with an incandescent audience. Ospreay's elbow drop outside of the ring in the middle of the match and Moxley's Curb Stomp were the best moves of the match. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful... but there's the ending. The ending is really a pain in the ass, and I don't blame anyone who will say that the ending ruined the entire match, but luckily for me it didn't. A really good match, dotted with good moments and good moves...just try not to take the ending into account |
| 20.02.2023 | TSwifty | 7.0 | This was a dream match to fans of both wrestlers, and it sure did look interesting on paper. It started in typical Moxley fashion with a brawl outside the ring. This is always my least favorite part of his style of wrestling. His brawling looked pretty flimsy but at least Ospreay was bumping his ass off. Ospreay's offense had fantastic impact as usual, and he is far above Moxley in terms of technique. But even with his exceptional offense I thought Ospreay's control segment dragged. I didn't really get into the match until Moxley dropkicked Ospreay into the barricade. The 50/50 big-move trading was really fun, and a few of the spots were amazing. Moxley punching Ospreay out of midair, Ospreay hitting the first Hidden Blade out of the Paradigm Shift, and a surprising Curb Stomp were a few that stood out. Moxley rarely interests me on offense as he isn't creative or impactful with his attacks like Ospreay is, but that wasn't really a problem here. He gave one of his stronger performances. My main issue with the match is the overkill final 1/3rd. The selling got pretty bad, and I was starting to get numb to so many big moves. Unsurprisingly overrated but a good match overall.***3/4 |
| 19.02.2023 | Okaro143 | 9.0 | Violent, brutal, physical and nasty. It was very personal and the chemistry between these two was excellent. The pacing was even and consistent ; It never dragged. The action was stiff, more a Moxley style of match rather than an Ospreay match but we also got to see plenty of Ospreay's high speed, high flying offense. It was all action from the get go with an incredible final stretch: They went back and forth, counters after counters, lots of suspense and drama. The only bad thing which kind of ruined the vibe was that controversial ending; Moxley's win was conclusive but the way it happened came off as awkward and weird; Whether or not the referee made a mistake, I didn't like it. Other than that it was an excellent match. ****1/2 |

| 31.12.2022 | BH62 | 8.0 | It took me a rewatch to rate this bout with expertise. That's the type of fight that Ospreay loves 'cause he has the occasion to do all his big spots, which it isn't my cup of tea, but here, he was way completely obsessed to beat up Moxley. Of course, that motherfucker bleeded a fucking lot while Ospreay was like a shark : at the second he saw blood, he unleashed a savage side of himself. At a certain point, nobody knew if he was covered of his own blood or Mox's. This bout had a crazy atmosphere, this was a bit too spot for spot for me. Even though they've came here with the only purpose to destroy the other. The good handling of the storytelling carried well the shit. The finish was a bit botched, yeah, but that didn't fucked up everything. The ref should take some timing courses, it's just a little advice that I leave here. |

| 10.07.2022 | arrancar | 7.0 | Definitely not one of Ospreay's best matches this year, but still a really good one because that's how good he is. It was a pretty standard Ospreay "epic", with him showing off his amazing skills all match long whether he was on offence or defence. Some of Moxley's brawl work and striking looked good, but some of it looked a bit flimsy and sloppy, too. This at least worked at times when his attacks felt extra aggressive and powerful because of how unorthodox and messy they were. Ospreay, naturally, had fantastic impact and technique with literally everything he did, all while having a wonderfully arrogant heel attitude to supplement his performance with. There was some good creativity in their various exchanges and spots as a result of the mix of their unique styles. Their countering of each other's signature moves was always especially fun. Ospreay took some awesome bumps in and out of the ring to put over Moxley's big attacks. Moxley's own bumping was pretty mixed, since sometimes he would overly protect himself from taking any damage, but his selling, while quite melodramatic, was actually mostly good because his constant flailing around sort of fit with just how great Ospreay's attacks were. Ospreay went through a bunch of his upper-level signature moves, all of which looked great, while some of Moxley's big strikes and signature moves looked pretty good but definitely far below Ospreay's level. And that's basically why I'm not higher on this match, since for as good of a match as it was, I have to say that most of that was down to Ospreay. Moxley was still pretty good, but he was most certainly just along for the ride with Ospreay as his exceptional driver. This is again because of Moxley's natural sloppiness and "off-pace" style, which can sometimes be rather off-putting if not paired with an appropriate partner like Ospreay who can hide his flaws and amplify his positives. Their 50/50 big-move trading and no-selling in the final 1/3rd was indeed quite generic, but with how impactful and creative as their exchanges and spots were, I didn't mind that too heavily. The 'botched' finish was a great way to somewhat protect Ospreay in defeat, since he -- being the despicable heel -- could rightfully complain that he kicked out of that pin, and that the ref mis-counted, so technically he never lost, even though if the ref counted properly then Ospreay would still have lost because Moxley kept going and immediately submitted him with the RNC anyways. I can understand disliking that finish, but if you consider it a botch then that's because you just haven't paid attention to NJPW's booking this year, since such controversial finishes have been a part of many of Ospreay's matches as a means to (1) somewhat protect him in defeat, and (2) play up his despicable and cheap heel side. As much as I love Ospreay, I usually find his non-NJPW matches to be rather generic "epics", though they're always still quite exciting. ***1/2 |
| 03.07.2022 | The Beholder | 9.0 | Great matchup with a flavor of each wrestler's unique style melded into one clash. It lives up to the hype, but the ending leaves a little bit of a sour taste in your mouth since it didn't go down quite like I'm sure they planned. Still great stuff. ****1/2-****3/4 |
| 30.06.2022 | KingsRoadFTW | 10.0 | Probably the 2nd best match of Moxleys career imo, behind the Ishii match. Puro Mox is easily best Mox. Hes hitting another level right now, & its amazing to see. So many great spots in this match. I didnt mind the Dusty finish, as it made sense with Ospreay. The guy below me is an idiot who thinks blading has long term side effects. Complains of retiring stuff that is unsafe, but wants Mox to defend the GCW title in a deathmatch every time. Dude makes zero sense. |
