The Wrestling Otaku wrote on 30.05.2022:

SiticEye wrote on 14.05.2022:
[3.0] "What the fuck was that? It was a convaluted and unstructured botchfest that made absolutely no sense. The defensive table manuevers just ruin the flow of a table match and it confuses the crowd and commentary. Plus, the finish was even right because Matt was the last Hardy standing according to commentary. Just a mess and a failure. (*1/2)"

rpbhwf wrote on 12.04.2022:
[1.0] "The match had a really poor concept with not having eliminated members of the team being forced to leave the ringside area. That led to confusion as a viewer and mixed with a sloppy performance, this was a forgettable match."
cheesewilleatus wrote on 11.04.2022:

Soo-Play wrote on 10.04.2022:
[2.0] "This was a weird match. Confusion on the rules aside, it was very sloppy and belabored, even for a tables match. Both Hardys, but Matt especially, are taking some sick bumps that they don't really need to be doing."
GonzoAppreciator wrote on 10.04.2022:
[2.0] "I love both of these teams but this was just terrible. The match was supposedly elimination but nobody actually left the match after they were eliminated. The Hardys were also kinda sloppy with some of their offense and I really don't like seeing BnB lose yet again."
Mizzle Assault Ant wrote on 10.04.2022:
[2.0] "Usually if AEW has a match I don't like, it's just because it was too long or involving someone I think is useless like Adam cole. This was something else though, it seemed like everything that could go wrong did. I've seen worse but I do think the Hardys are too past their prime for this kind of run."
PavelDragunov wrote on 09.04.2022:
[5.0] "Some kind of crazy fight. Closer to the finale, I could not gather any clear thoughts about everything I saw in my head at all. Of course I caught myself thinking that I would like to see win The Blade & The Butcher, I liked them for their work in the ring and in general I would look at their promotion, it would be an interesting start for them, but it turned out they were at the finish line. The rules of the match, like all the people who write here, I did not understand, is this something like 2 out of 3 table holds? Jeff Hardy seemed to me still tired before the match itself started, and Matt took all the attention on himself exclusively, only for the final jump and the work of the young men and Matt, you can put a rating of 5/10, but in general no more. This history whole thing is taking too long."
Derek Joists wrote on 08.04.2022:
[2.0] "This was pretty poor, and commentary being confused about the rules and unable to explain them didn't help. The Hardy's are simply not able to move well enough to carry a match like this, and the booking and confusion exposed them completely. One of the worst AEW matches I can remember, and a rare time when they misused legends."
Roodolph wrote on 08.04.2022:

QueirosS wrote on 08.04.2022:

The Hardy brothers look exhausted and they should either take a break or give them a big story that will interest them fans! Sting on their background looks 100 times more confident and serious."
boisecombatclub wrote on 07.04.2022:
[3.0] "I love the Hardys, but god this was an incoherent mess. Matt looked like he could barely walk, and Jeff wasn't moving too well himself. It's a stark difference from that 8-man a few weeks ago when a bunch of younger guys and a little more chaos around the building could decently disguise their shortcomings. At least the ladder spot at the end was memorable, if also extremely scary given the way Jeff does the swanton now."
samirandres1428 wrote on 07.04.2022:
[4.0] "The match at least was satisfactory. It's a tables match, se there was crazy spots, crazy action, and the Hardys doing the thing, that was good, even if they look a little bit old. Now, the problem of this match are the rules, very nonsense, practically they did what they wanted, and at the end I didn't know what was going on, but not in a funny way. Just adequate match for that. [**]"

JoelintonGoat wrote on 07.04.2022:
[2.0] "I love the Hardy's but this match was just not good at all. I dont even have a problem with the rules. But the match was very bad first Jeff Hardy the person most skilled out of the 4 when it comes to this match is eliminated first than the butcher is eliminated by Matt it was lame as butcher was on the table for a decent amount of time before Matt did a dive. Than the cool suplex spot which saves this match from being godawful and then Blade is put on a table and it takes a minute for matt and Jeff to set up a ladder so jeff can do swanton bomb."
JaybirdJared wrote on 07.04.2022:

Pertinax wrote on 07.04.2022:
[1.0] "This was an awful match with confusing and inconsistently enforced rules. Jeff Hardy gets eliminated even though the table he's "put through" doesn't even break. And then that elimination means nothing at all because he's able to come back and Swanton Bomb (which he almost falls off the ladder doing) The Blade through a table and it counts? ! They threw out proper table match rules so they could jampack this match with enough table crashing spots to try to distract viewers from these four guys clumsily stumbling around. If this is what we can expect from the Hardy nostalgia tour, I say end it now and please Tony do not put the tag belts on these guys."
VinnieDA wrote on 07.04.2022:
[3.0] "Yeah. Rough match here. Can? t argue with it being one of the worst for AEW. Liked butcher and blade here as they still made the hardy boys look good in the spots but just a shamble of a match. Did not look like they rehearsed at all here."
RantsAbove wrote on 07.04.2022:
[2.0] "Honestly one of the worst matches I've seen in AEW. Either there was epically bad miscommunication, one or both of the Hardys were injured, or they're just washed outside of a few spots. Considering how surprisingly fun the train wreck 8-man was a couple weeks ago, this was an enormous disappointment."
EddieK97 wrote on 07.04.2022:
[2.0] "This was a very sloppy match. It became an elimination match out of the blue & the rest of the rules were very confusing. I hate to give 2 stars to my favorite tag team (The Hardys), but I had to."
Prince Osborne wrote on 07.04.2022:
[5.0] "I have nothing but respect for The Hardys as a team and their passion to still be on talks among the fans but this match was totally contrived with the rules first. It was interesting as they set the difference again from WWE but it was completely furloughed during the end for the sake of a badass ending. Second, the action was not that good. It was fine at the end because of several visible misfires and The Hardys' early exhaustion. They can't do these specialized matches like before and I hope the team understands this and do the needful. 2.5 out of 5 stars!"
LivingLegend wrote on 07.04.2022:
[2.0] "This was horrible. Sloppy, uninteresting, with a stupid elimination rule that didn't end up mattering because Jeff (who was eliminated) won the match for his team. The Hardy's both shouldn't be wrestling anymore, let alone in stipulation matches. Wild to me how the Hardy's grand run in AEW is already a failure. [*]"
Zack122 wrote on 07.04.2022:

[2.0] "It is sad to say because I love the Hardys but this was just messy and a bad match all around. Tony should really book them accordingly, more catering towards what they can do NOW, at this age. They are old, I think the fans will understand if they are not literally trying to replicate the old TLC matches at this age. Props to Butcher and Blade for trying to keep it together and even Matt at certain points. Jeff was a mess aside from the ladder spot. Dont know if he was hurt or what but this just wasn? t good."
ChadBroder wrote on 07.04.2022:

The Hardys just are not what they used to be and shouldn't be doing matches like this as often as they do. There was virtually no story to this match and it was just big spot to big spot and even then we have seen better table matches. **"

[0.0] "Strong contender to be the worst match of the year and yet this year we had the men's Royal Rumble, Bobby Lashley vs Omos and a Vince McMahon match so it's a strong testament to say that but yet it's the truth, I've rarely seen anything so messy and sloppy since I've been watching wrestling and yet I've been watching it for years on a weekly basis. I'm seriously sad to see my childhood idols become so bad and awkward between the ropes, I really felt sorry for Matt & Jeff in this because god, they're so fucking bad now. I don't mean to be mean, they're absolute legends of this business who deserve all the respect in the world but they just aren't fit to wrestle again in 2022, both are broken all over and apart from the money I'm sure Tony Khan doesn't even know why he books them. They're literally being used as pulpits to attract ratings and make money for the company but deep down AEW know full well they have no business being in a wrestling ring anymore, at this point this is ridiculous and embarrassing. Their last & current run is a complete disaster and this match is the epitome of what I've been saying, it was very uncomfortable to watch and knowing I'm watching on the commercial-free version of FITE TV I saw all the action... which I wish I hadn't to be honest. All the spots were messed up except for that ending but seriously, who's still impressed with Jeff doing that kind of Swanton Bomb ? It feels like you've seen it fifty times and the guy is taking bumps for nothing. Nobody cared about this match, the crowd was dead, the wrestlers in this were awful, nothing made sense since they made an elimination rule without explaining it to us just to skip that rule when Jeff returned in the match, I understood absolutely nothing and this is without a doubt one of the worst matches in AEW history. You know, on par with Baker/Swole and Hardy/Guevara from All Out 2020, definitely."
