[5.0] "Well, the match was for the sake of developing the story and rather promoted a completely different idea. It's a draw again and it doesn't impress me much. Maika and Saya Kamitani don't seem to be very interested in this tournament."
[5.0] "Yeah this match was alright and there were some cool false finishes and all but the ending fell really flat, where I don't really think it quite worked, and I also think it brings down the rating of the match a bit. Besides that the action wasn't anything special either so yeah, a 5 seems fair here."
[4.0] "Maika's Brainbuster on the apron looked impressive, but instead she could've eliminated Kamitani right then and there. Before that, there was a moment when Maika was standing on the apron and just waiting for Kamitani to dropkick her, which could've eliminated her. In-ring action before all that was fine, but nothing that would make me get interested in a big singles match between Maika and Kamitani. Last year's Cinderella Tournament final also was Maika vs. Kamitani, but this match didn't feel like it was anything special or important before the bell - it felt like just another match, which is another proof why Kamitani's push isn't working and only holds a lot of wrestlers in STARDOM back. To me, simply the fact that this match was used to set up a title match that will Main Event an important show devalues the tournament itself, but that's just me."
[5.0] "There was a disconnect between the exhaustion feigned by both ladies, the relatively light impact of their blows and the amount of time that had elapsed within-the-match. I also did not care for the finish-decision as it was clear Maika's feet touched-down prior to Saya's back-feet landing. However, I did appreciate the intensity at-which they fought. 2 2/3"
[7.0] "The bit at the start where Maika launched Kamitani over the ropes to the apron only for the latter to hit a springboard dropkick was the best part of a nice match and really natural looking."
[6.0] "Surprised they would run a Round 2 match tonight, but I appreciate Saya & Maika putting on a really fun match. Maika showed some workrate and Kamitani is just Saya as usual. I hate how this match had to end in a DRAW, and a pretty quick-ish match for these two as well. But it's all resolved with the two fighting soon for the Wonder of STARDOM title. If only one of these two one so they could still go far in the tournament. [*** 1/4]"
[6.0] "Again another slightly surprising result but that actually made sense since Maika made the challenge for the title after the match. Vertical suplex on the apron was great. Their title match has me torn, I don't want Maika to lose again but I want Saya's reign to continue, it will be great though, that's for sure. I had Maika going further in this tournament but the given the circumstances it all made made sense."
[6.0] "For a while, this was looking like the third straight awesome match on this show. A Maika win would have her in line for a potential White Belt title shot, so there was extra incentive for her to win, and for Saya to try and prevent it from happening. The urgency was top notch, they went at it right from the start and it was a really well-paced match for however long it was. The brain buster on the apron was such a sick spot. And then, that dumb ending. Why does Saya escape the Cinderella tournament without taking a clear loss? And then Maika challenges for the title anyway, even though she just lost her match. 7/10 for the match, minus a point for the ending."
[6.0] "The Saya Kamitani/Maika feud continues, and I gotta say, I'm surprised at how much I love this! This match was very fast-paced and was mainly focused on both wrestlers trying to eliminate each other over the top rope. The final stretch was pretty cool and seeing both Kamitani and Maika eliminating themselves was very clever. Looking forward to a rematch. ***1/2"
