704.11.2025BMWrestling179.0If this is his last match then I cannot complain at all. A complete spectacle. Kevin Owens was perfect for this match.

931.10.2025Redisonsashuisosi5.0Don't get me wrong, but I don't understand the point of giving Austin such a win. Austin is a legendary wrestler. His match with Rock is a classic of wrestling. But such a victory kind of distorts the essence of wrestling. It's illogical that a guy returns after 20 years and confidently beats an active wrestler. This match didn't really benefit Owens, even though Austin gave Owens permission to use the Stunner. What was stopping them from boosting Owens with this match? Why can Corbin beat Kurt Angle in his farewell match, but Owens can't? I'm not blaming Austin for this. Rather, I think Owens has a careless attitude towards himself and his booking. In this match, Owens will be remembered as a random guy, a typical mid-card heel who was needed as a punching bag so that a world-famous wrestler could win for the entertainment of the crowd. So, I understand that such a victory was logical for boosting the mood and emotions at the show. Although WrestleMania 38 is one of the worst WrestleManias and shows in history, with only one good match.

1919.07.2025danzitorock7.0This was unbelievably emotional, specially for those who are Austin fans, grew up watching the Stone Cold, or even caught up his works later with videos and footages (my case), but the fact is that Austin is one of my favorites ever, and to watch him wrestle again after 19-years is phenomenal, this could've gone either way and it would be a total blast. I consider this to be one of those rare moments during a horrible period of WWE to actually make you feel, and remember why do you love the company, well, not the company itself, but the moments that happened there, specially during your childhood. The segment before the match was incredible, Steve gave a facial expression masterclass, he was pissed off first, but when KO started to talk about the match, it looked like he was about to cry, he managed to tell every emotion with his eyes. The bout was a simple brawl, but super effective, the fact it wasn't a squash is commendable, they've actually had a proper match, and I loved it, the No Holds Barred stipulation fit very well. Austin won after a tough fight, and managed to retire with a win, amazing moment - {***1/2}

3301.05.2025uselessdollthing5.0This is way better than Austin's last mania match and I'm really glad that he got to go out with a match like this. Owens vs Austin sounds like a complete dream match but we're really lucky to have gotten it. Yea this match might seem a bit limited considering Austin's age but also I think thats fine, and also the crowd atmosphere for this was real good.
3428.04.2025KKeanel9.0This was hell of an entertainment. Kevin protected Steve at all costs here and match himself was perfectly structured for Steve's style and age.

4812.04.2025PhillyPride1010.0Man. They coulda just done like a 5 minute or less glory/spot match and have Stone Cold hit a Lou Thesz Press, a few stunners, finger salute, pop the crowd and drink a beer(s), but they actually had a real, legit match. Props to Austin. What an honor for KO, too. Take away all the nostalgia, this was an awesome match, regardless. I actually liked how it only took one stunner to beat Owens. Great to protect the finisher. Was it great wrestling? Not by any means, but for an almost 60 year old, it was great. Wrestling is meant to be entertaining and this was hella entertaining. All-around awesome. (Watched this right after the CVV Kevin Owens interview where he said Austin was stiffing him during the match and you can definitely tell some of the punches and spots were a little bit snug. Ha).

5725.03.2025Kugenesan110.0I feel drunk. I'm pretty sure he had around 7 beers during the match then I didn't bother to count post match cause we know he'll go all night if he wants to. Saxton, come on man you should know that was a trap. Moments like this is when I give Vince a by. Only he can pull off and/or convince someone. I never thought that I would be watching a Stone Cold match live in the year 2022, let alone the main event of Wrestlemania. Not gonna lie, I feared KO was gonna get the Erick Rowan treatment a few Manias ago with Rock, but then again KO ain't Rowan and Stone Cold ain't Rock. The man was 57 here. A 57 years old man with a history of injuries took not 1 but 4 suplexes on the floor. That itself deserves a 10/10.

5919.03.2025PhillyHarden8.0Match itself, 4 stahs. Whole segment? 5 bagger for sure. Austin is one of the most important players in the history of the business, and not only did he get a perfect retirement, he got TWO. I'm so glad he got to go out at home, on top, in the main event, chugging beer the entire time. We don't often enough get to say goodbye to legends before it's too late, so getting the opportunity to do that for one of the all-time greats will never not be enjoyable.

6115.03.2025Keithnelson188.0I really thought this was gonna suck cause of Austin's age and he hasn't wrestled since 2003, but this turned out to be an entertaining match and a very fun brawl.

6424.02.2025Willie 192008.0This was a great match especially because Austin hadn't wrestled in a long ass time, and KO got to main event a WrestleMania which was definitely deserved. The No Holds Barred match was a fun addition to add more of a brawling match than just an in-ring centered match. Overall a really good main event that I recommend you watching.
6523.02.2025Hazem10.0Sometimes, it doesn't matter. Throw all the rules and analysis out of the window because this was just everything. The backstory here is enough to give this a 10. Kevin Owens who is one of the best PEOPLE in wrestling got to wrestle his childhood hero in the main event of Wrestlemania. We got to see Stone Cold wrestle again. Stone Cold's grandkids got to see him wrestle. On top of all of that this was pretty good and was exactly what it should've been. The fact that we pretty much don't see Stone Cold again makes this even better and more special.

6909.02.2025finbar8.0now THIS is potentially the silliest match of the Wrestlemania weekend, perhaps even more so than Sami/Knoxville - Stone Cold Steve Austin main eventing a Wrestlemania in 2022 - listen, the work in the match is absolutely fine, stiff in places and carried a fair bit by Owens (who put in a great performance), but the sense of occasion in this match was the real carry job in this match, as Texas were both loud and elated to see Stone Cold wrestle for one last time.

7104.02.2025Hitman268.0I loved this from start to finish. The segment was funny Kevin Owens did a great job as a heel. The match was also very good even if Austin was 58 he gave his everything in this match. It was really awesome seeing Austin back in the ring again and I feel like Owens was really a great pick for his last match.

8208.01.2025samot4.0I'm happy for the crowd who seemed ecstatic with the match and Stone Cold, who got to have one last match on his terms, but this didn't work for me. I thought Austin looked super stiff and the spots I felt like I saw coming from a mile away. I was finding myself zoning out often and having to refocus myself as I wanted to love this but by the end, I was grateful for it to be over as I felt I would've soured even more on it had it gone on any longer. Disappointing, as I love both of them, but sometimes it just doesn't connect for you and this was one of those cases.

8927.11.20242pt0EcoBoostFusion10.0This was amazing. Everything was amazing, the segment by Kevin Owens, the THUNDEROUS pop for Steve Austin, the match between the two; It was a banger on all counts. The match may not be a 10 out of 10, but this was about giving Mr. Stone Cold one last awesome moment, in his home state of Texas, tops everything that the match quality was about. Kevin Owens did most of the heavy lifting for the build up to the culmination of the feud here, but that isn't to say that Stone Cold not showing up for almost all of the build up was wrong, because him showing up at the last minute to accept KO's match invitation was what made the moment spectacular. On to the match, Kevin Owens bumped as well for Stone Cold as he did for Owens, both looked really good in the match and Stone Cold did have his rust moments, but not as shabby as one might think. Kevin Owens gets stunned by Stone Cold for the three count and the crowd roars. Having this close out WrestleMania 38 was 100% the right call, as it was for the moment and it delivered on all fronts!

9416.11.2024Smi-485.0The match isn't really necessary, and even though Austin looks quite fit and is bumping along slightly, you can tell he's almost 60 years old. And the ring rust has only been shaken off to a limited extent. Does the action hurt him? Oh no, they're clever enough to stage the match as a spontaneous performance, which doesn't require the rattlesnake to be in a state of fitness to be trained hard in advance - which he still has to a solid extent. But of course this keeps the drop height low. And of course it is 'nice to have' and pleases the one or other nostalgic. But it's simply not a good match. I take it as it is and don't think much more of it.

9708.11.2024arkhamoutlaw109.0Just a truly happy moment and maybe the last great nostalgia pop that WWE will ever be able to create again. You could see how much it meant to both men and the crowd got a singular experience which transcended the quality of moves, which is what WWE is perfect at on their finest days.
