Sanada and Soya had a really great chemistry, first Time i've seen them together in a ring, they are both powerful and agile, it mixed very well with Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi. The match is powerful from start to the end, a lot of strengh, some nice spots and a great final, i want to see the others matches they had together now."

[10.0] "So I can't claim to know a lot about All Japan in this era, but when I know those meaty men Okabayashi and Sekimoto show up from Big Japan some great stuff is about to go down. Funny too to see Sanada here, prior even to his TNA run when I originally got to know him. I think I actually liked him quite a bit better in his younger days, his NJPW run really hasn't been for me but this match helped me remember the things I liked best about him. The crux of the match is clearly Sekimoto against Soya, who is a meaty man in his own right, but my favorite guy in the match was one the premiere fire hydrant shaped wrestlers of all time, Okabayashi. His crazy strikes and ridiculous power were on full display here, matched well by his meaty tag partner. This felt like a very bitter fight all the way down the line, a lot of intensity and animosity, not at all exhibition-esque or by the numbers, just a great fight. Hidden gem for sure."

This was just a hard-hitting match, with so many heavy, clubbing moves. I was very familiar with Sekimoto already and he rules, but Okabayashi was just as impressive."

They were beating down Sanada for a good half of this match - Sanada can take a beating, but he drew zero sympathy. Soya's comebacks were pretty good, but not good enough. Sanada and Soya didn't come across as champions to me at all, Strong BJ just destroyed them."

[10.0] "An amazing early classic involving currently brooding SANADA. Of course the team he was against was Strong BJ, so of course this was going to be physically great. Not to take anything away from Soya though as he was arguably the MVP of this match in his fire and brute strength that matched Sekimoto and Yuji at points. The storytelling early on as Sekimoto and Yuji just bullied little Sanada as he was the smallest guy in the ring. When he made the hot tag to Soya though is when things got crazy with him showing his impressive strength against Strong BJ. The second half of the match was just a wild ride of a bomb fest with suplexes and lariats galore. Just 3 and a half big meaty dudes pounding the hell out of each other in a showstealer of a match that would impress even the four pillars, ****3/4."

[8.0] "What I wrote at the time: Very good - another in a line of good to excellent matches between these two teams, though this was their finest. The first ten minutes Saneda was worked over after losing a test of strength and skill to Sekimoto. Sekimoto is a very respectful wrestler - always carrying the sword after winning Zero One's Fire Festival as well as offering complimentary words to the home promotion's losing participants."
