Hanan vs. Mai Sakurai

[6.0] "This was a fine sprint, Hanan had another good showing after her match with Rina on the previous show, she played the underdog here which worked really well. While I'm not a big fan of Sakurai, I do think that she also had a pretty good performance here, her work on top was interesting."

[6.0] "Hanan is a sweet and very talented girl, her matches have a special energy and in general she tries. Mai Sakurai also found something to surprise and some of her movements were really good. A cool warm-up from young lionesses."

[7.0] "I know I'm in the minority here but I enjoyed this a lot. I thought this was a lot better then Hanan vs Rina and that Mai Sakurai had a great performance here, with her moveset looking very crisp and her being very smooth. Her elbow drop is her only move that still looks pretty ridiculous (the standing one). Besides that, they were both pretty good with each other, the ending felt a bit clumsy in parts but besides that this was a really fun sprint."

[6.0] "Not as good as day 1's Future title match but fine. I was maybe surprised Hanan retained; especially via a move she had to use twice to put away Rina."

[4.0] "This lacked the charm of last night's opener. Not-to-be-accused of ageism, but I don't see how a 31 year old who lacks sufficient athleticism and pace should-ever be regarded as the future of Stardom. Some of Mai's executions were fine, but her front-facebuster needs work. And then, the ref - his positioning & eye-contact on-the-count made it difficult to believe he could spot Hana just-barely getting her far shoulder-up prior to the three -> it all looked fake-choreography. The finish wasn't ideally smooth either. Not poor but nothing better than adequate. 2 1/5"

[7.0] "Good opening match with a solid amount of drama for its length. I actually enjoyed this quite a bit more than the Future match from the previous night. Diverse range of moves and each competitor showed a real drive to win. Mai was making timely counters right down to the finish and it felt like it could have gone either way. ***1/4"

[6.0] "Actually, I don't have much to say about the match. It was a normal Future level, like a match with Lady C. But God, I'm so happy for Hanan. All my friends and me as well thought that this was the end of Hanan's reign, but she confidently won. It seems that authority really sees her as a special champion."

[6.0] "These two aren't bad wrestlers...I just think they were going WAY too fast. The moves were clean, and for how short it was it wasn't too bad. Not a big fan of the speed and ending though. Still a solid match, and Hanan isn't too bad. [***]"

[6.0] "I have high hopes for Hanan and I believe she will be a good wrestler in the future and can be one of the main figures."

[6.0] "It was not as good as Rina vs Hanan but it was still pretty decent I thought. It was really fast, Mai Sakurai didn't really do anything wrong and Hanan was her usual reliable self. Happy she retained. **3/4"

[4.0] "Yesterday's battle of sisters was way more interesting for me, but this one is still a fine opener. I would not expect much from Stardom and AWG rookies to begin with. **1/4"

[5.0] "This was a solid match, albeit a step down from the match between Hanan and Rina last night. Mai still needs some work, even though she has improved since joining DDM. The most notable thing was Hina returning after the match. She looks so different from six months ago."

[5.0] "Nice short match between two rookies. Hanan carried Mai Sakurai throughout the whole match, but I gotta say, this is Sakurai's best performance in her whole career. I'm so glad Hanan retained the Future of Stardom Championship, and I hope she only drops it to Miyu Amasaki. Also, I'm hyped for Hina vs Hanan. ***1/4"
