1118.04.2024AZDOM8.0This was very similar to their match at DQM, which is very much a good thing. This time, however, I'd say they went for a slower pace and there was not as much heat in it for me. The lack of crowd noise also took a bit away from this match, as well. That didn't stop Saya and Tam from delivering great performances. These two have an unbelievable chemistry and it translates really well. There were not as many memorable spots as their DQM match, but the spots that we did see had fantastic execution. These two were ON IT. That battle of passion, that struggle of wills, the kind of emotional heft that we come to expect of these two could once again be found here. Overall, GREAT match, even if not as exciting as their previous one.

The girls showed a perfect match where there is everything, history, drama, contradictions of views on wrestling and of course passion for this sport. What kind of girls are well done and it is such participants who build the legacy of women's sports. The ring is honor and glory, and the best come out here to illuminate it and our souls. One of the best matches of the year in the women's division of the whole WORLD!

3701.09.2022chrisprowres2021 [10.0] this match was better than their first one this match told a story on how arrogant tam is you can see it in the whole match she knew she was better than saya but underestimate her this match had a few good spots to the point tam learn from mayu and jump off the top of the stands it was carzy and saya unorthodox moves and tam having an answer to it they work well in the ring. and if people didnt get it that saya didnt beat tam with her Phoenix splash but a roll up like it was her way of getting the match over with knowing she might lose if it goes any longer good booking in this match . this match show tam is at the top of stardom and saya is working her way up there as white belt champ she just need to get better and move execution.

I was a huge fan of their encounter in December where Saya conquered the gold and I felt this was even better, if not better perhaps slightly more rewatchable. Good big spots, serious aggression towards one another, big counters and moves and for a minute I actually thought Tam had Saya. Really really good.

Kamitani is still too green and limited to be having these long matches, and while Nakano was the better performer here, she isn't really the one to be carrying someone like Kamitani.

The pacing here was fantasitc, with the opening half full of well choreographed counters to show that these two women know eachother intimately, before ramping up to the next gear after that INSANE middle-rope frankensteiner to the outside. After that, the gloves were off, and Kamitani and Nakano continually went for the kill up until the finish. I can understand people not liking the finish, because it was a de-escalation as opposed to ending at the pinnacle of the match's heat, but I really enjoyed it.
