[6.0] "Pretty decent stuff here, I love Marufuji's offense, it always adds another layer of excitement to his matches for me, but I felt like he didn't get to show that much here. I also liked Mochizuki's and Kiyomiya's exchanges here, but Inaba was more of nuisance here than anything else, he's just bland in my opinion, which kinda dragged the match down. Kiyomiya does fine and the match picks ub, then Inaba gets tagged in and the match went flat again, that's how it was for me each time Inaba got tagged in."
[7.0] "The match accelerated for a long time, but in the end it turned out very bright and brutal in the NOAH style. Everyone made a contribution to the fight and proved himself on the good side. I liked Daiki Inaba with his strikes. Kaito Kiyomiya, as always, was very active and charging for action. M's Alliance members impress me more and I wanted them to win, but I was unlucky, seconds sometimes decide."
[7.0] "Marufuji has been doing that Shiranui for 22 years and I don't know if I have ever seen someone counter it like that, pretty incredible. 3.75 stars"
[7.0] "Nice bout to watch. There were some moments that both wrestlers put down the instensity of the match, but at the end did a good effort to make a great match. [***1/2]"
[8.0] "Such a good match to start this little tournament. The work of Masaaki Mochizuki and Naomichi Marufuji as a team was absolutely excellent, and the final exchange between Marufuji and Inaba elevated this match a lot. Mochizuki did some great strikes during this match, and Marufuji too, while Inaba and Kiyomiya showed a good selling and great returns. Very good ending with Inaba doing a big upset. ***3/4"
[8.0] "This match started out slowly but really built up momentum in the last half for a very exciting finish. This was one of the better performances I have seen from Daiki Inaba, and the other three guys are all great."
