[5.0] "Not a good match, but I was somewhat entertained by it. Godfather and Goldust was both over the top characters that that played off of each other really well and the Blue Meanie's trick of handing Goldust the powder ended up backfiring horribly on him after Goldust is blinded and Godfather uses the crowd to guide him into giving Blue Meanie the shattered dreams. I just wish this had just been a regular match instead of an IC title match."
[4.0] "I find the Goldust/Meanie partnership rather underrated and, unfortunately, it didn't last long, although they complemented each other great, which was evident on this show. It was a match between two of the most outrageous characters, embodying the spirit of the attitude era, and it was quite entertaining, despite the match being very short, with neither wrestler showing much more than a comedic beatdown of Blue Meanie at the hands of his teammate. 4 points."
[2.0] "This was pointless and was not good at all. I enver enjoyed the "Ho train" stuff and found it trashy. I did like Blue Meanie's run with Goldust though."
[6.0] "Proper silly match full of silly stuff, godfather is obviously peak attitude era and his ho train is out in full swing here, then golddust and "her" son the blue meanie doing some daft stuff too - not a technical classic at all (at ALL) but it's quite funny if it's your humour"
[6.0] "It's such a dumb match, and you know what it's purpose was, and for some reason, it just worked for me. It's purely just a comedy match, but it did it's job. It kept me entertained. Maybe I'm just easily entertained, but Godfather and Goldust just rolled off of each other in this match."
[3.0] "This would have been a disappointing but not terrible match without the comedy routine at the end, but that just hurt it worse. It's not exactly that I'm against comedy in wrestling, but when it's such a big insult to the intelligence, and it takes place in an already short match? Yeah, I can do without. These two were capable of better. Not a downright dreadful match, but lets just say no one is going to rank this in any top 100 matches for the IC title."
[3.0] "A badly aged comedy match that is also delivered with a crowbar. It is the phase in which Goldust degenerates from bizarre outsider to laughing stock and is garnished with the Blue Meanie, who seems completely out of place in this role. In terms of content, too, this is not a masterful performance by the two veterans, but rather a tediously indifferent obligatory task."
[1.0] "This match was all about the comedy, which was good, since these two weren't really going to have a good match to begin with. Even with the comedy, this still wasn't that great and served as the bathroom break match of this entire show. It's sad how far the IC title had fallen around this time. [1/2*]"
[4.0] "A quick match that wasn't much for actual wrestling but the comedy wasn't horrible. Not very memorable and pretty lackluster for an Intercontinental Championship match on a PPV. 2 stars at best."
[3.0] "When bad comedy is the best part of your match you know the match isn't very good. Goldust looks like an absolute idiot multiple times and The Godfather's performance certainly isn't saving any bad match. 3/10."
[3.0] "Godfather's charisma is the only thing that keeps this thing together, because you obviously can't expect a proper wrestling match in this era. It wasn't horrible at first, but once Blue Meanie bollocks started happening I gave up. The referee for some reason doesn't disqualify anybody not only when Meanie enters the ring, but also when he attacks Goldust. They're diminishing any importance the IC Title used to have."
[5.0] "not a fan of both gimmicks and the wrestling and comedy left a lot to be desired. interesting to know that godfathers ho"s where just strippers from the local area of the show."
[2.0] "Not good at all. Waste of Dustin's talent at that time as they did a lot in those years. Waste of the second most important title of the company having it on Godfather who yes was going to do great selling some merchandise but wow he was not that good. And is it just me or did someone actually liked the Blue Meanie? In my opinion he was awful."
[4.0] "I did not like this match until the ending shenanigans with The Blue Meanie and the powder. I don't really get all he Godfather love that the crowd seems to have."
[2.0] "Godfather kills about 5 minutes just getting to the ring and doing his speech then it's just a comedy match. Goldust gets powder in the face and can't see anything and Godfather tricks him into beating up Meanie. Shattered nuts for Meanie then Godfather finishes Goldust with the DVD. The Intercontinental title is in secondary prop territory here. The division got better when Jericho/Eddie/Angle and Benoit came into the WWF in a few months. 2 stars out of 10 just because the crowd was into it."
[2.0] "* - boring and useless. Progressing a story maybe? Idk. Blue Meanie being involved is stupid. And I don't ever recall Godfather having a good match so why on earth he's holding such a title is beyond me. He isn't good enough to hold any singles title"
[4.0] "This was fun as far as it went for a short gimmick match, not that the Godfather gimmick is that great looking back... The interaction between Goldust and the Blue Meanie was great though, and this was fun if not much else."
[2.0] "I don't know if Charles Wright ever had a single decent match under the Godfather gimmick. Someone who needs smoke and mirrors to get through a five-minute match with Dustin Rhodes obviously isn't up to the task of carrying the WWE's secondary belt."
