[8.0] "Bright but quick tag team match here. The established team of Carter and Catanzaro show the real sparks, with some great double offence. Kay Lee Ray is one of the best sellers in the division at this time. I feel the wrong decision was made in terms of result but still a recommended match."
[8.0] "Nice match for how short it is. Katana and Kayden are so good, but i wish they won the tournament. Io and Ray did nothing with winning the tournament."
[7.0] "A nice match where I discovered Carter & Catanzaro, they have quite a magnificent teamwork. Catanzaro is incredible during the match, she gives her all. (3*1/2)"
[8.0] "I thought this was a blast. This was a very fast paced sprint, with lots of innovative offense by everyone involved. There wasn't one minute of slowing down, both teams worked really well together. There were many cool spots, but the reverse rana by Kacy to KLR off Kayden's shoulders was definitely the highlight. Just awesome stuff overall, could've got couple more minutes, easily. ***1/2"
[8.0] "Great sprint and the most formidable match of the women's Dusty Classic. All four women are experienced and been in high staked situations like this before. So, the action itself was what we expected - high speed, crisp exchanges and cool spots. The fans were on their feet for the time being and the choice of winners makes sense as the plan is to bring unpredictability to play. 3.75 out of 5 stars!"
[7.0] "My favorite match from the whole tournament. Non-stop action and crazy spots. Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter are the perfect team, they complement each other and at the same time they look like a whole organism. Io Shirai has also been showing himself worthily as a team fighter for a long time, but in my opinion he still can't work with Kay Lee Ray, they seem to win, but they do it at the expense of their single virtues, but I think that will be enough for them in the finals now."
[7.0] "A sprint, but a far more fluid and steady stream of action than anything we've seen thus-far on 'Roadblock.' The spot that climaxed with Kacy's reverse rana on Kay Lee from atop Kayden's shoulders was spectacular. Hey, Io even accurately hit the moonsault - this all worked. 3 1/3 - 3/8"
[7.0] "A very good tag match with four talented people, slightly odd result with the makeshift team beating the established one but they looked convincing doing it."
[8.0] "I actually really enjoyed this match and I think this is the best tag match during this women's dusty cup so far. Io Shirai is a beast and really swung for the fences here. Catanzaro and Carter also really knocked this match out of the park and impressed me quite a bit. Lee Ray seemed like the weak link here and took some away from the match for me. ****"
[8.0] "A really good fast paced tag team match they didn't have a lot of time but they certainly made the most of their almost 8 minutes. That poisonrana of the Doomsday Device position was badass"
[7.0] ""Nice TV match, this was just a tad bit under 8 minutes and it was great. It was fast-paced, and they were even able to get some near falls into this one. The poisonrana off the top rope was cool.***1/2""
[8.0] "Damn good tag team showdown between these four talented ladies who completely exceeded expectations and certainly put on a much better match than anyone could have imagined when it was announced, I thought it was going to be something easy for Io & KLR but in the end although it was short it was very competitive and Kacy & Kayden got the most interesting showing of their career. When I see their performance here I think their booking doesn't reflect their talent at all and I wonder why they've been so sorely underused for years now as they're so damn great between the ropes and are loved by the crowd, they were really over here and yet they were facing two of the biggest babyfaces in the roster. The action in the ring was exciting, contested and they managed to create some suspense when there was none, major props to them for that GREAT tag match and especially to Kacy for that insane Poison Rana."
[8.0] "One of the best women's matches on NXT since the rebranding, this was a fantastic, high octane sprint with stakes and four excellent workers. Tag team chemistry was there for both teams, there were some awesome false finishes and it really felt like either team could win. Io and Kay Lee Ray winning was the right call, but Kacy and Kayden looked excellent in loss, and seem poised to be breakout stars. Really solid stuff. [Edit] Watched this again and it was even better on second viewing. Would love to see this on a Takeover card again with more time some time down the road. [***3/4]"
[7.0] "Nice fast-paced match which served all four competitors well. Carter and Catanzaro got to show a lot of what they can do, but KLR and Shirai went over, and I'm looking forward to the final with them against Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo."
[8.0] "Excellent match, easily the best of the night. The action was fast and smooth, with all four coming out of this looking great, I really enjoyed it. I think this should have been saved for the final and given an extra 5-10 minutes, but hopefully Kacy and Kayden are given more ring time following this anyway. Io Shirai is simply phenomenal, it will be a sad day for me if the time ever comes that they move her to Raw or Smackdown, so with any luck, her and Kay Lee Ray win the cup then dethrone Toxic Attraction, or better yet, Mandy costs them the titles leading to Io dethroning Mandy."
[8.0] "Well this was waaay better than I expected. Team Ninja actually dominated most of the match, which was something I didn't see coming but in the end was pretty good since they were the more established (and proper) team between the two. They looked strong in defeat, taking the former NXT and NXT UK aces to their limits - that assisted reverse-ranna on Kay Lee Ray looked painful. Kaylee and Io advance to the finals, and hopefully they win and dethrone TA, they are extremely talented and work really well as a team."
