[9.0] "It's very unfortunate that shortly after this match Hamada got caught with weed and had to leave Japan, because it told an effective story that would be easy to use in a rematch - Hamada was able to set the pace early and then kept finding ways to get one step ahead of Hashimoto until she won. Hashimoto's successful attempts at catching up to Hamada made this imo one of the most unique matches in Hashimoto's career because she showed that she's really good, she had real chances to win, but Hamada's experience, that Hashimoto lacked at the time, ultimately made the difference and cost her the title. Another thing that makes this match stand out through 2025 eyes is that they didn't brawl on the outside just to kill some time in the beginning. Few minutes that this match had happened naturally and surprisingly late into the match, it also added to the story of Hamada founding a way to get an upper hand one more time. ****1/4"

[10.0] "This was a fantastic fight here, between two of the best female wrestlers in the world at this time. Loved everything about it, especially Chihiro, she is so phenomenal."
[8.0] "No one else has touched this match, which to me is insulting to Chihiro Hashimoto, who is AMAZING so here I am. There is an intensifies that only grows through until the final stretch, with Hamada repeatedly kicking Hashimoto in the dome. ****"
