[5.0] "The match was pretty decent up until the DQ finish. Thankfully the re-match these two had last week made up for this. I liked seeing Mercedes use a pipe during her beatdown, I think the steel pipe is an underutilized weapon in wrestling."
[6.0] "That was fine. They set up a second match but this one could have been a bit more brutal and intense. I felt the hatred a bit but yeah, that lacked also of a hot crowd. However, right after, Britt Baker unveiled herself as Rosa's nightmare. So, backwards, that is a 5 turning to a little 6. Martinez had to take methodically Rosa out."
[6.0] "Fine match between these two that was slow, methodical and most importantly, enjoyable. Both had good chemistry and the finish might pave the way for a second round that could have higher stakes and Britt Baker being involved here throws light on two different paths - the long built unsettled tension between Baker and Rosa as well as Hayter vs. Martinez to see who's the most notorious. 3 out of 5 stars!"
[5.0] "Meh, there wasn't anything wrong with the match, but nothing really noteworthy and it wasn't really holding my attention until the DQ at the end. Hopefully they are setting up a match with a hardcore stipulation for the future, that would probably be pretty good. As for this match, meh."
[7.0] "I enjoyed this, for the time it got it felt gritty and hard hitting, just as I hoped. I don't mind the DQ finish, they are useful in moderation and AEW certainly doesn't overuse them."
[5.0] "The girls did not have time to warm up as Mercedes Martinez broke the rules. It's sad, it's a bummer, but by the way it's very rare for AEW, so there was a special moment in a sense - funny."
[4.0] "Never really got going and was more of an angle than a match. With Jericho screaming "A disqualification in AEW! ? That never happens! " it kind of felt like this was done to shut up the fans who say that DQs never happen, but it also goes some way to establish that they can and do. Martinez was apparently hired by Baker to take out Rosa. I still don't understand why she tried to interfere in Cargill vs Soho."
[4.0] "A decent match but it felt kind of flat, it needed more emotion and aggression to it. It served its purpose as a start to a larger feud but lacked a lot as a one-off match."
[4.0] "Not much of a match but fine for what it was. Martinez feels really flat since her debut and this didn't help, especially since Rosa's selling was pretty goofy at points."
[8.0] "A great match here between two of the best female wrestlers out there. It was a solid debut for Martinez, and Rosa needed to get the win as, presumably, she's the next challenger for the title. The ending could perhaps have been handled better, but it did a good job of continuing the feud and establishing Mercedes as a badass."
[7.0] "A really solid match Between Mercedes and ROsa that ended on a DQ that serviced the storyline. Hoping they have a rematch with a proper finish at some point down the line"
[6.0] "It was a satisfactory match. I didn't like the ending but it was understandable, as they deserve a longer time for their match, maybe in a PPV' or Dynamite."
[5.0] "I mean this was going to be a pretty good match until the finish ruined it. I won't just give it a pass because they almost don't do it because this was simply a cop out. It doesn't make me as mad as when it happens on WWE but it's still a cheap finish."
[6.0] "The end of this match opens many doors, I just hope they know how to do it well, they are not bad talents from the AEW women's division at all."
[6.0] "Pure setup for a bigger match down the road, as it's now become obvious that Dr. Britt Baker DMD hired Mercedes Martinez to take out Thunder Rosa, perceiving her to be the greatest threat to her title reign. Also looking forward to a teased match between Martinez and Jamie Hayter."
