Billy Graham vs. Dusty Rhodes

[4.0] "For a match from 1980, the finish certainly reminds one of Japanese wrestling of the time, long before Japanese influence on American wrestling became cool. This isn't a good thing for this match, which just feels like it abruptly ends without an actual ending. Even before that, it never really reaches a second gear, and it never quite feels like Rhodes and Graham have a lot of heat that translates into the match. Not completely awful, but just nothing that really stands out aside from the bad non-ending."

[8.0] "Thought this was really great however I did not like the finish. With that being said I liked the action here my god Dusty's punches look awesome and Billy graham looked pretty good here as well and of course dusty got some color. Awesome old school Texas wrestling. ***3/4"

[7.0] "This started off slowly, but noticeably picked up a lot once Dusty scored the 1st fall with a Bionic Elbow. Graham played a rock-solid heel, doing some effective cut-offs to the hope spots here and there (including a sweet bearhug pin in the 2nd fall), and Dusty's comeback is a treat to watch as always. The dodgy finish was pretty poorly executed on their part, although I don't think anyone was willing to job here. [***1/2]"
