[6.0] "Since the previous match was quite too short this had to be way too long, I thought that 20 minutes weren't necessary, at times the match dragged and it couldn't keep me interested all the way through. It had some fun sequences, especially everything between Sugiura and Tanaka was really good, but they didn't get so much time here against each other since the focus was rather on Sakuraba and Maru, who were both okay here."
[6.0] "We were delayed with the duel, already at the end the speed disappeared. The wrestlers are simply tired, And they are given such a long period."
[8.0] "A very long acceleration with not the most memorable moments, and a more than acceptable start to the final part, when Sugiura and Tanaka exchanged hard elbows - their chemistry in tag team matches is always a level higher than in singles. Sakuraba's exit and his attempts at wrestling moves were ridiculous, but they were thought of as such. The spot with the T-shirt amused me, it was an amazing element in the distinctive feature of their interactions. The last minutes are good, and I liked the result. Cool match (***3/4)."
[6.0] "***1/4 This was a bit underwhelming considering the people involved. They didn't go too hard, but at least we got Sakuraba comedy wrestling, which is something I didn't know I wanted."
[6.0] "This was a serviceable match. Marufuji and Sugiura carried hard, and there were some mildly entertaining comedy spots (i.e. the shirts on underneath the shirt). I would prefer that there are pin attempts after superplexes/brainbusters from the top rope, but that's a wider problem in professional wrestling and not a knock on this match."
