[6.0] "It had some decent moments but overall pretty disappointing considering the level of talent, regardless of age at the time. They definitely held back which wasn't a good choice considering this was their only singles match and had to know it would be."

[6.0] "Its fine and at some points pretty good. Misawa and Chono aren't at their best and have some awkward looking moments, some strikes/moves don't look the best and I have no idea why Chono loosened the ropes. There were some pretty good spots from Misawa including the Emerald Flowsion on the outside. Chono had some great looking kicks. The atmosphere was great. Fine match, both guys have had much better."

[7.0] "With this match being hyped up as a huge main event match between the best from NJPW and NOAH, it was kind of disappointing to see it like this. While these two put on a good match, I wouldnt call it great or up there with the best by any means. It had a flaw that many matches have when it slows down at certain points and drags, but when they were fighting it was awesome. This match could have been much better, but it wasnt bad by any means. Not a huge fan of how out of nowhere the Time Limit DRAW ending was, too. The coolest spot was definitely Kobashi hitting a Piledriver on the Entrance Ramp and then Misawa hitting an Emerald Flowsion on the Entrance Ramp. Not a bad match, but it drags a bit and isnt the greatest from these two. [*** 3/4]"

[5.0] "This match had a great atmosphere, the crowd was hot for everything they did. However, the in-ring action was not that good. They had a few nice spots but the rest was just rest holds to make the 30 minute time limit. I would love to see a rematch in a tournament or in a context in which they have something to fight for and reach their highest gear."
