Charlotte Flair vs. Naomi

[6.0] "An okay match. Both women did their job and Deville's interference against Naomi added a bit of storytelling to this match which was also appreciated. However, everyone knows both Charlotte and Naomi can have better matches than this one."

[2.0] "I thought this was fairly dreadful. The work in it was really mediocre at best and looked really light. The overbearing gimmick with the GM didn't help matters at all."

[6.0] "I think if given the time and freedom this two can do better then this. This was already pretty good as is, they seem to have great chemistry. Just a pity that it started a little clunky and that Sonya had to spoil it, but it's moving a storyline forward so I don't mind. I hope their match this week is even better then this cuz I really think they understand a complement each others wrestling styles."

[6.0] "A cool match, it's a pity that Sonya spoiled it to the maximum. I wonder what the outcome will be with the relationship of Deville and Naomi..."

[6.0] "6/10 match. Decent tv match where both did a good job. However, the continuation of the Sonya angle seems a bit forced with no clear direction."

[5.0] "Speaking of foils, Naomi is a solid choice to be given a push for Charlotte as she has been overlooked for much of the past couple years due to either injury or paying-the-price for being triple-play DUIs wife. On-the-other-side there's the charmless one who has been blessed even-though her Father and fiancee were also problem-childs for the company. Unfortunately, this bleh thing w/ Sonya must continue. 2 1/2"

[5.0] "This was mostly here to advance in the feud between Naomi and Sonya Deville, but at the end of the day, both women didn't do a bad performance. Naomi carried this match a little bit to me, and overall it was an average bout. **1/2"

[8.0] "Solid match which flowed very very well. Charlotte and Naomi have really good chemistry and this was one of Charlotte's better outings in recent months,"

[6.0] "Charlotte looked weak against Naomi, who had no momentum before this match, so this makes no sense. Charlotte should have won without Sonya changing the rules all the time. The wrestling as such was good, though."

[4.0] "So obviously Sonya Deville got involved in this, and there's still no explanation of why. It's dumb. The match itself was sloppy, with multiple botches by both women. Charlotte especially has seemed checked out for months now, and Naomi hadn't had a singles match that went even half as long as this one for almost 2 years, so it's no surprise she was rusty. This should have been a much better match than it was."

[5.0] "Charlotte Flair gave more of an effort here against Naomi than she ever did against Toni Storm, but this was still bang average, and didn't do Naomi any favours either. Flair's moonsault is still crap, and no doubt people online will blame Naomi like they did Toni."

[7.0] "Good, fun TV match, what we were hoping for with Charlotte and Toni. Naomi brought an entirely different energy than Toni and it's always obvious she and Charlotte love working together. I hope we can get this at whatever the February PPV is. This is a good example of how a match where the winner is pretty obvious can still be good and compelling."

[6.0] "The match was good, the action felt right and with a good pace. The story was all about Devline trying to make Naomi suffer, changing the rules on the fly wish I'm not a big fan of since it's something WWE use to do a lot with evil GM's. Naomi still got to show she have a lot of resillience and hurt."

[6.0] "Really good match despite the match type (championship contender's match) still establishing its existence feels weird. Charlotte has been on a dull note since that title exchange a while ago and hope 2022 has something noteworthy for her in store. Nonetheless, Naomi put a strong effort here and it was an entertaining affair. 3 out of 5 stars!"

[7.0] "This was a fun, competitive back and forth match. Naomi got to prove that she has what it takes to compete in matches longer than 2 minutes. Her move set is super unique, I loved the sit out full nelson into the pin. Sonya interrupting multiple times kind of slowed the pace, but at least it made sense for the story. The finish was a little lame though. Good match. [***1/4]"
