[9.0] "The refined execution of this match is flawless. A hidden gem of a match, with Danielson providing an exemplary performance of his RoH champion form for a low-stakes occasion and SUWA being a wrestler who immediately and effectively heels it up and then keeps up with Danielson without flash, befitting a heel."

SUWA is in top form with his heel work and was really entertaining as he tried to cheat his way to a victory over Danielson."

[6.0] "A decent little match here. While both of these guys would have a arguably more memorable encounter in RoH just 6 days ago in a brutal title bout, they also had a pretty obscure rematch in a short lived British indie for some reason. SUWA is a gloriously dickish heel here, either kicking the cameraman before the match even starts or throwing toilet roll at Danielson for no real reason. Dude even blows snot into his face after a technical sequence lol, love the guy. Danielson at this point was arguably at his career peak as RoH champion, having a insane 2006 for total match quality. He's super solid technically and keeps a good pace with the more lucha-style opponent, mixing up his grappling with some dives and well timed big shots. SUWA keeps up with cheating, naturally. There's a great spot where he just low blows Danielson literally in front of the ref, and when the ref tries to start naturally moaning about it, he first acts like it was on the inner thigh and that he's making it up, even following it up by stringing his opponent on the top rope and doing even more damage because he's gotten away with it the first time. His control segments are fine enough, even if less than spectacular outside of a great backdrop and John Woo dropkick. Danielson's counters are quite well done and he easily gets the crowd behind him here, even if he's mostly just running with half gas. Eventually SUWA drops the heel stuff and goes for straight big moves, which he loses out after Danielson clatters him with a solid superplex before using his elbows to weaken him for the Cattle Mutilation for the easy tap out. This is a fun little oddity of a match but obviously not really much beyond that. SUWA's antics keep this fresh and Danielson and him have solid chemistry in the ring: everything they do together is smooth and the pace is formatted very well, with little downtime whatsoever. Definitely give this a watch if you are fan of either guy but consider this a bonus on top of their ROH match."
