There was some great stuff with Triple H as ref because he's not there to make one sided decisions this time with his rivals on opposite teams, bit he spends the whole match trying to provoke Austin to get him out of the Royal Rumble. There's just really good action with a lot of drama and both teams being slightly dysfunctional because of the rumoured Kane and Taker alliance as they end up not fighting each other when they both tag in. The finish is fun with Angle shoving Triple H into Austin so they fight. Triple H pedigrees Angle in the chaos and then Rock tags in and pins Angle with the Rock Bottom. Triple H gets the Stunner, theres an Austin and Rock staredown and they both get choleslammed by Taker and Kane. Awesome. |
