[5.0] "Michaels is in his full on smart-arse joker mode here and comes across early in the match as the heel, which gives it all a bit of an odd dynamic. Tatanka was always good value for money and I quite enjoyed his heel turn with Dibiase. This match is fine. Standard TV match."

Und verglichen mit den Partien wie z.B. bei Wrestlemania IX ist das hier ein nicht ausreichendes Stück Arbeitsverweigerung. Michaels lässt die Partie zur absoluten Comedy-Lachnummer verkommen, um seine Coolness zu untermauern, statt sich selbst ernsthaft als ambitionierten Contender zu positionieren. Chris Chavis, ohnehin auf seinem Weg aus der Liga, kann einem an dieser Stelle irgendwie leid tun."
[6.0] "A good short TV match between two guys who have decent chemistry together, though with Tatanka being pretty anonymous this time around. Given that he was getting the top babyface push, it was weird seeing Michaels acting like a heel at the start of the match, hiding behind the ref and sticking to the ropes. Then again, he really did just do whatever he felt like back then."
