Soho hit plenty of offense and did everything to win to keep the crowd's faith in her, yet somehow Alexander still came across as much superior pro-wrestler who was controlling the match every step of the way."

However, she encountered a guy like Josh Alexander and that man is giving no shit whatever your gender, he's here to take you on the mat and display all his technical arsenal. Soho tried to be technical but she's not known for that kind of wrestling, but at least, she tried. Showed Alexander she's strong. They had some stiff exchanges as some submissions were cool. Nice shoulder work by Alexander, who took slightly the advantage through the bout."

However, the last 5 minutes of the match the intensity really cranked up and the story of Soho being unwilling to quit really shone through. Her selling was immaculate and the offense that Josh put her through was devastating and spectacular."

[9.0] "In kayfabe, Ruby Soho risked a heck of a lot taking this match just a week before her TBS Championship match against Jade Cargill, but Soho doesn't care, she wanted a war with Josh Alexander and she got one. This was Ruby's first match in AAW in exactly five years since Heidi Lovelace departed for WWE, and she returned with her greatest AAW showing, surviving almost everything Alexander threw at her (and Alexander throwing her), only succumbing after Alexander had worked on her surgically repaired shoulder, and he needed an avalanche spinning Tombstone to defeat her. As I've said before, Soho is one of wrestling's best sellers, and this match was a perfect demonstration of that, and her sheer will to stay in matches."
