Bill Alfonso vs. Tod Gordon

[8.0] "Yeah, they aren't wrestlers, but that doesn't stop this from being absurdly fun for what it is. Crowd is insane for it. Fonzie is bumping and bleeding and just being amazing, then Taz turns heel at the end to start his great alliance with Fonzie. Just super fun stuff."

[4.0] "Bill Alfonso vs. Tod Gordon was fine/okay for what it was, two non wrestler having a wild/brawl fight that was helped by the crowd being so into it. Post match was good for furthering the story with Taz. Not a bad blowoff match for Bill Alfonso and Tod Gordon."

[6.0] "Bill Alfonso was an interesting character even before becoming the manager of ECW legends, being a "trouble-shooting" referee, causing hatred among fans, and everyone was happy to see how the founder of ECW, commissioner Tod Gordon gave the arrogant Bill a beating. Bill took over the initiative at the beginning, secretly attacking Tod, and then beating Beulah, after which he was attacked by a series of strikes and clotheslines. After footstomp from the second rope, Alfonso made a low blow, briefly gaining the upper hand, after which the fight became more hardcore, and in the final the appearance of Taz, who replaced Beulah as a referee, played a key role. It's not often that matches between two non-wrestlers come out so good and, I think, it was a Cornette-Dangerously's level action."

[7.0] "Honestly, for a match between two unathletic middle aged men who are not wrestlers, this is shockingly good. They feel like they genuinely hate each other and even manage to have some pretty good looking punches. The match is pretty much exactly what it should be, and frankly is a better grudge match brawl than what you see from a lot of actual wrestlers. This is better than it has any right to be and is genuinely very entertaining."

[4.0] "It was fine for what it was, two non wrestler having a bit of a hockey fight and progressing the ECW story."

[7.0] "So this is the blowoff match in the feud between villainous straight ref Alfonso (obeying the rules of course being taboo in ECW) and ECW commissioner Tod Gordon. Beulah McGillicuty is the special guest ref, and all of them ham it up ridiculously. This looks exactly like a fight between two riciculous middle aged men, which is exactly how it should look. There's nothing resembling real wrestling here, but it's great fun, and Taz turns up with a killer promo at the end to make things even better."
