[7.0] "The match itself was really good, but I'm not sure about the stipulation, if it was needed, felt kinda hit or miss, there were some nice spots, nothing you haven't seen before, so I thought they didn't utilize it that well. Still the action was enjoyable tho."

[9.0] "Great match here, I didn't even know it happened at the time so it was cool to go back and check it out. It's not the most innovative ladder match ever but it's well worked and the few really big spots they included are memorable, especially Mayu's wild moonsault."

[6.0] "A truly unique match for Stardom. It's hard to make ladder matches interesting any more because we've seen basically everything possible with them over the last 20 years, so this ladder match here was never going to be anything blow-away, but it still managed to be quite good. They had some cheesy but charmingly funny mirrored spots to start off with before moving to a more standout tag-match structure as everyone got an equal amount of time to showoff their particular offence. Their usages of the ladder were initially just generic pulling and pawing at each other but definitely evolved past that after a while, first seen when Mayu took that nasty superplex bump, and followed up by a cool spot where Hazuki and Kokomo helped 'slingshot' Mayu with a shotgun dropkick into Maika who was laid against the ladder in the corner. That then led to a genuinely awesome-looking spot as Mayu climbed up that same ladder in the corner (which was at an angle, by the way! ) to hit a gorgeous moonsault RIGHT OFF THE VERY TOP to eliminate Maika. That was easily the Spot of the Match. Koguma's big crossbody splash off the top off the ladder to the outside was also very cool, especially for someone of Koguma's proportions, since she seemed to connect like a damn bomb. The actual wrestling exchanges back in the ring were all good, performed at a good pace and featuring (mostly) really good chemistry, which made for a nice change of pace from the ladder spots (though the ladder spots that followed were pretty cool, too). The final sequence with Himeka hoisting Natsu up the ladder and "helping" her get the briefcase for their team, without doing anything after putting her on the ladder that would *actually* aid their team in any significant way compared to if Himeka had just climbed the ladder grabbed the briefcase herself, was pretty cheesy but still somewhat charming because of the way it reflected their relationship and team cohesion, with bonus points for Maika being the one to hold the ladder steady for the both of them. Definitely a good match, but take those few (admittedly big and really cool) ladder spots away and there isn't much else to get into here. ***1/4"

[9.0] "This is just an amazing match. Okay, there are more innovative ladder matches that feature better uses of ladders but lemme tell you, the Mayu moonsault from the top of the ladder and Koguma's dive to the outside CAN'T BE TOPPED. Just can't. Sure, the main action was basic stuff but who cares when you have those 2 spots, Hazuki kicking Poi off the ladder, and the whole story of Poi and Himeka coming together by their usual Poi on Himeka's shoulders to win the match. Beautiful! Intense! Story! ****1/4"

[6.0] "There are some really cool well executed spots here like Maikas superplex to Mayu from the ladder, Kogumas top of the ladder dive to the outside, Mayus top of the ladder moonsault and Hazukis springboard kick to Poi in the ladder. But besides that the actual action was just fine. It was basically just Stars beating the hell out of Natsupoi and Himeka then saving the match all along. And they resolve their issues in a really dumb way since Himeka could have just reached the case for herself but makes it a point to push Poi to be the one to do it. It just felt really forced in all honesty, as did this whole PPV to be honest"

I'm sure you saw all the GIFs by now - for everyone involved it was the very first ladder match they had, and they did their best to make it memorable."

The Koguma one genuinely shocked me and she continues to make me a fan of her. Amazing match considering this was a first for all involved I believe. Nice win and make-up for Natsupoi and Himeka too."

[7.0] "Some spectacular action by Mayu, her superplex bump & top-of-the-ladder moonsault were Gorgeous. I also liked K's leap from the top of the ladder and how she covered for H's inability to muscle her up for her finisher. K made very natural transitions and rightfully settled instead for a cl pin. I guess we're supposed to believe H is now OK w/ Nat, though it didn't play much into the match. I also liked this ladder match, in-contrast to WWE, in that there wasn't much of that goofy 'paw'ing but can't reach the ladder' bullshit. There wasn't enough dramatic inter or intra factional stuff for me to go higher than a 3 1/3"

[7.0] "I enjoyed it a lot but it's nothing new. I didn't expect them to do the kind of insane spots you could see Jimmy Lloyd and G-Raver do 2 years ago with lighttubes on ladders, but here I feel like the ladders were anecdotic excpet for Maika's superplex, Mayu's moonsault and Koguma's plancha, that were three great spots but sadly the only 3 in a nearly 20-minute ladder match. HimePoi getting along again was great. I think the match would have benefited of not being a ladder match but a regular 3v3 or something like that, because the stipulation was barely used and I don't see how they can tell a story around that (except the fact that now MaiHimePoi are rich af). ***1/2"

[8.0] "As a ladder match, it's probably not that great, but this was the first for all the wrestlers involved and they managed to have a match without mistakes and had some very memorable spots on top of it, so one has to recognize their effort. The story between Himeka and Natsupoi was very nice and had a satisfying ending."

[8.0] "I thought this was awesome. It wasn't the typical Ladder Match you see in other companies more a 70% normal Six Woman Tag and a 30% Ladder Match but the spots they did were unreal. Koguma's dive was WOW and about the Mayu and Maika Stuff just was unreal. (****)"

[9.0] "I saw people on Twitter saying this wasn't good....What.. I thought this was fucking awesome, especially when you consider this is the first ladder match in company history and in these women's careers. The Maika brainbuster off the ladder on Mayu was awesome and both the Mayu moonsault and the Koguma dive from the top off the ladder were INSANE. They were very creative all the way through and everyone took some really nasty bumps. I was honestly expecting STARS to win but it's nice to see Himepoi's reconciliation. Wild fun this. ****1/4"

[8.0] "To be honest, at first I was a little upset that this match was staged in the main event instead of Loser Leaves Unit match, but then, I realized that there is Mayu, there are ladders and there are Himeka and Natsupoi here, which means that the match has everything to steal the show. It all started a little quietly, but it got better and better by the end. Crazy high-fly moves from Mayu and Koguma became an adornment, and the ending warmed my heart. And yes, I do not mind at all that they made a choice in favor of a more positive ending than that of Momo and SLK. Happy for HimPoi. 4.25."

[9.0] "My goodness, what a spectacle and fitting main event this turned out to be. When the card was announced, I was wondering if there would be a break between the two qualifying matches and the ladder match. When the finalized order was announced on the preshow, I was a bit surprised that the QQ/OT match was not headlining, and it made me anticipate the possibility of Himeka turning against Poi for good after an impending loss in this match. Even though DDM didn? t lose, and Himeka did not turn, I loved this match. The first half was pretty good, albeit somewhat tame. The second half, however, managed to have some insane and memorable spots without turning into an all-out spotfest, if that makes sense. Some of the top highlights were a moonsault off the ladder by Mayu to pin Maika, a huge dive off the top of the ladder by Koguma of all people, a dual combo on Mayu by Himeka and Poi, and Himeka with an Angle Slam off the ladder to HZK. This match managed to have some of the craziest Stardom moments of the year without being a stereotypical spottiest for the most part, nor did it go too long. The ladder was shaky, which added to the drama in a way. The ending was tense, as it took Poi quite a while to unhook the briefcase, causing tension over the possibility that Himeka may turn on her when Poi was at her most physically vulnerable position. A 9 might be too high, but I thought everyone did an excellent job and that this match was perfectly paced. It ended the show on a happy and high note, which was needed, and was a great way to wrap a bow on the PPV."
