[8.0] "A match that started slowly, gradually increasing in intensity and landing some powerful blows. The Briscoe brothers' style is undeniable. Their tenacity allows them to overcome their opponents. Maria Kanellis always ends up caught in the crossfire. OGK and his Doomsday Device maneuver from the ring to the outside were truly entertaining. Jey Briscoe's J Driller was excellent; one of his attempts was a little off-center, but it was still very entertaining. The final moments drove the crowd wild, and the Briscoes were crowned ROH Tag Team Champions for the twelfth time. FTR's appearance after the match was a great addition and the start of what is currently ROH's biggest rivalry."
[8.0] "This is an incredibly fun tag, the best I have seen from Taven and Bennett as a team and a surprisingly emotional match, this felt like a send off to the Sinclair era of ROH and probably should have finished the show. All four men put on good performances, Bennett and Taven played the heels well but still garnered some deserved respect from the crowd by the end due to their resilience, particularly that of Matt Taven. The Briscoes were just excellent as you would expect, Jay had such a strong hot tag and Mark can just eat offence so believably to build up sympathy from the crowd. The Briscoes get the win after a Doomsday Device, and this is well worth a watch, not the strongest period in ROH history but a barnburner of a match to end it."
[10.0] "This match was non stop action. Easily a contender for best ROH match in the last five years of the Sinclair Ring of Honor Era. OGK and Briscoes are having their Game 7, these two teams have strong ties to Ring of Honors history, and having an action pack we're leaving this out on the table moment. They fight to get a very quiet crowd to react at times but they hook them by the end. An incredible match, ****3/4"
[8.0] "This has an end of term (promotion) feel and everything's left out in the ring. Briscoes were always great, as is the undervalued Taven - who pretty much needs to be sledgehammered to be kept down. Tremendous smash up of a tag, crowd are tantastic, and a great PPV."
[5.0] "For a match that's 15 minutes, this was way too overdone. Some of the bumps are damn solid, but the action jumped from place to place and didn't have the crowd investment to make it an exciting spotfest. I like both teams, but this one was just fine. 2.75 Stars."
[10.0] "On the final non AEW ROH show, we got this titanic tag team battle starring the team that was always most synonymous with ROH, the great Briscoe Brothers. Their opponents, the Kingdom, are not a team I get super excited about but it's clear they felt the weight of the night because they put out straight A performances here and gave a great fight to those wild chicken farmers from Delaware. I expected some kind of No DQ stipulation actually but, with a few rule fudging moments, it was mostly a straight match, or rather a straight fight where all four guys were clearly swinging for the fences, not knowing what tomorrow would be bring and therefore doing all they could for today. Taven and Bennett put on one of their best performances here but ultimately it was all about the Briscoes, and rightfully so as they were so central to what made ROH special over the years."
[9.0] "A fitting tribute to The Briscoes and their incredible tenure in ROH. Everybody brings their best, and the OGK have one of their strongest showings that I have seen. The Doomsday Device variation outside the ring was crazy. I believe all the crazy moves and kick outs were called for on this particular occasion so you will hear no complaining of overkill from me. The special moment and atmosphere is what really puts this over the edge in my view."
[8.0] "Go-for-Broke! Of all the matches on this packed card, this may be the first in-which all four participants have a deep, longstanding history with both each-other and with the company. This weight of history added to my enjoyment of an already ridiculous allotment of back-and-forth, no-selling, previously unseen kick-out of moves, and the like. Jay Briscoe is a tremendous talent and if his political leanings were more savoury and his size a little greater, he would be a major singles player in any major American company. Mark's regressed, outside of the delectable Maria, Bennett's unremarkable, but Taven again proved that although he's not a big draw, he's a very, very good American pro-wrestler. Pops to the post and Dax's ability to draw heat (I wish Tully was there.) 3 3/4 - 4/5 8.0"
[7.0] "This was a fun tag match with the obvious and correct winner being the Briscoes considering the occasion. There were several crazy spots in this match that both added and took away from the action (due to how some of the spots looking to planned such as Mike Bennett's weird reaction after the Maria bump). Anyway I enjoyed this match (in spite of the lack of adherence to Tag Rules) mostly due to how significant the Briscoes are to the history of Ring of Honor and how emotionally real the whole thing felt."
[9.0] "A big blast that was. Briscoes and OGK took every damn risk possible to put on a masterpiece. Bennett and Taven had some great history with ROH but damn, Briscoe Bros are the heart and soul of it. No moment to take a breath as this was completly insane during fifteen and + minutes straight. They worked really hard for this and took some sick bumps, even Maria. Surely the show-stealer. I took a big slap here."
[9.0] "4.5 Stars - this match ruled and probably gets the extra bump as the emotional factor as its possibly the Briscoes last match in ROH, with their tenured history they put in a great performance and ive turned a corner on OGK, Taven is not meant as a singles guy and same for Bennnett but them as a team work so well and im not saying they need to be tag champs but there good solid team to have on any roster and taven almost killed himself with that bump to the outside. the ending was awesome and cant wait until what this builds up to."
[10.0] "One of if not the best tag team match this year. Absolutely incredible contest with both of these teams. Matt Taven did some absolutely hellacious looking moves here. The kickouts added a lot of drama and made sense with everyone being super motivated. Either winner would've made sense here but with the nostalgia train being conducted by the Briscoes, I'm happy with the result. Phenomenal match, and the post-match angle pointed the Briscoes to a bright future. All-time classic right here. *5*"
[9.0] "The best match I have seen Bennett and Taven have since their Armageddon Rules match with the Briscoes from 2/21/15. Taven in particularly was working very hard in this one. The Briscoes were consistent like they have been for largely the entire duration of their ROH tenure. Not really a fan of Bennett's at all but he didn't bring down the match. I would have been game for this one getting a bit more time. A fitting way to conclude the ROH Tag Division depending on what the future holds for ROH."
[8.0] "Resounding match by the Briscoes. Fast, spectacular and very gory match. OGK performed great and Matt Taven in the end seemed to never succumb. Great final for the Ring Of Honor couple division. My rating: * * * * 1/4"
[10.0] "Even though the result was already foreshadowed due to the nostalgia factor. This was nothing short of spectacular. This was the best tag team match I probably saw all year. The lights turn off & out come FTR. This is how you do a tag match *****"
[9.0] "This is slightly overrated but it's a fantastic tag match nonetheless. I had actually never seen these 4 wrestle I don't think but I was really impressed. Some mad spots in this especially that tope doomsday device. Maybe a bit too hard on the kickouts at the end but that's a minor knock. ****1/4"
[9.0] "What an amazing match, they went all out, you can tell how much these 4 guys love ROH, some good wrestling, some amazing spots, some fucking insane spots, a beautifil ending, Taven saying they have to kill him was great, Taven killed himself here, there were at least 2 spots where I hought he was seriously injured, bunch of kick outs, just a great match, and of course Briscoes getting their 12th title, I wouldn't have minded OGK keeping it, to declare them being the new tag team of ROH, but Briscoes are legendary and it just made sense, you couldn't have that many passing of the torch moments this show, and the biggest one was in the next match."
[10.0] "The Briscoes are as good as tag teams get, and the OGK are no slouches either. Both teams give the performaces of their lives here, making for a great send off. AEW needs to sign the Briscoes as soon as they can, there's plenty of teams there that they could have matches of this quality with. And it's an amazing match, full of action but everything had a place and a purpose, even as it got scrappy towards the end it just added to the intensity. The Briscoes going out as champs is absolutely the right decision as they've been the mainstay of ROH's tag division for most of its existence. A genuine MOTY contender here."
[9.0] "Great work here, I came out of this with much more respect for Matt Taven and Mike Bennett as in ring performers. My only beef is the thing that vexes me about ROH in general, too many killer type moves that only get two counts."
[10.0] "Amazing tag team match right here between these two great teams who are first and foremost four veterans of the game who delivered exactly the kind of matches we want to see around these prestigious Ring Of Honor tag titles, again we can say it was a surprise because I don't think anyone expected it to be fantastic and yet it was. Taven & Bennett are a great team, quite underrated if you ask me because they're never talked about because their team doesn't look great on paper and yet they're great, the proof is in their performance here where they were phenomenal heels and above all natural ones. In front of them they had the stars of this division and have been since the beginning of the company, the legends Jay & Mark Briscoe who have been loyal to ROH until the end and there's no better choice than them to be the last tag team champions of the company. Brilliant tag team action right here with everyone shining in some flashy sequences and incredible nearfalls. The post-match angle with FTR was absolutely insane too, the cherry on the cake."
[8.0] "This was an absolutely insane match with the exact finish that we should've gotten. These two teams worked their asses off, and their efforts resulted in a bout that was simply amazing. The Briscoes then called out any tag team on the planet after the fact, and FTR showed up, leading to a big pull-apart brawl. Surely this would mean that The Briscoes are AEW bound, but I guess we'll see what happens."
[10.0] "The Briscoes are one of the best tag teams of the past two decades and have been faithful to ROH their entire run, and this match felt special because of that. Matt Taven despite some failed runs is actually a really solid worker and a great babyface when he's really on, and Bennett is kind of a blank slate but Taven & Maria help bring out the best in him (Maria coming out with them after being in a backstage/GM role for the women's division for so long was really nice). This was exceptional in terms how to escalate a tag team match from standard tag action to brawling insanity while keeping great tag continuity and making the prize feel important. The back and forth was perfectly paced out and featured some insane bumps (most notably Bennett accidentally spearing Maria on the apron and Taven doing a fucking TOPE CON GIRO DOOMSDAY DEVICE which is the most insane team move I've seen in a long time). The Briscoes are just masters at building tag matches that are chaotic but readable and this was them at their best, being able to string big moves along without feeling like overkill. Even the two extended nearfall heat sections on Mark & Taven at the end felt deserved given how much these titles have meant to the Briscoes in the past and how much they mean to Taven now (OGK's title win a little while back was put over really well as being emotional for him) given that they may never be contested for again. The finish felt earned and the crowd was all over this (including the entire Briscoe family at ringside, wow that was a lot of kids). Arguably MOTN alongside the main event; ROH putting over that this could've been the main event of the PPV wasn't just kayfabe bullshit, it really could've closed the show. Also Jay's post-match promo and the Briscoes vs FTR brawl were amazing too. ****1/2"
[9.0] "Taven and Bennett, in the twilight of Ring of Honor's story, wins over the masses (at least, I hope they did) with an exceptional bout of performance. There is no one who loathes constant kickouts for no reason more than me, but in the context of ROH's final show everyone getting that gigantic push of morale makes it kinda beautiful. MAN UP"
[9.0] "There was always going to be sentimental value in seeing the Briscoes go out as ROH World Tag Team champions, but these four guys , are sure the moment was earned by tearing the house down. They put on a banger, and the suicide dive Doomsday Device by Taven and Bennett was particularly spectacular."
[8.0] "There were a lot of kickouts towards the end, which may be an better tribute to RoH than the match before it, but the action was all solid if pretty standard for the Briscoes."
[9.0] "If this is the end of ROH, they showed why they had some of the best tag team wrestling of all time. This match was balls to the walls action, and the crowd was as loud as any pre-pandemic crowd this company ever saw"
