DOUKI vs. Hiromu Takahashi

[6.0] "This is as rural, quiet and out-of-the-way as it gets in Japan; considering that, for the 500 people who attended they put-forth a fine crowd performance. Douki is a more daring and polished performer than Wato, so I enjoyed this more than that pairing. HT did his thing without pulling too-many novel punches, but this was a good fight, obviously nothing close to the epic @ Korakuen some months back. 3 1/8"

[7.0] "This was a very good match where DOUKI got to show a lot and did not disappoint. Hiromu looked good as well, as was to be expected."

[8.0] "Match of the night and great work by both men, but it didn't hit the heights their last two matches did. Finish felt somewhat anticlimatic."

[7.0] "DOUKI gave his all but everyone could see the Hiromu win coming a mile off which killed a fair bit off the drama. Good match, just lacking the unknown quantity and another match where the crowd sucked. ***1/2"

[7.0] "That crowd didn't leave an impression that they came to see the Main Event or saw Hiromu as someone who's on another level than the rest of the field. When Hiromu had his comeback match against DOUKI he really struggled, but here he defeated DOUKI much more decisively. ***œ"
