[4.0] "This was your typical Randy Savage mid 90's WWF match. Savage gets beat up for the first half or 2/3rds then rallies and hit's the elbow for the win. Savage wouldn't find his working boots again until he jumped to WCW and had something of a renaissance."
[5.0] "Pretty decent TV match that proved Macho Man still had a lot of gas left in the tank. The result was obvious, but it was nice to see Fatu getting a lot of offense and looking awesome against a huge star like Randy Savage. [**1/2]"
[6.0] "I thought this was pretty good! Savage and Fatu work really well together and it told a good story. The finish was good with Savage finding an opening, taking advantage and getting the win. This was well put together."
[5.0] "I enjoyed this. It was pretty basic with a simple story, but I liked the simplicity and thought it was successful at re-establishing Savage in the ring against a bigger man as he builds towards a clash with Crush."
[5.0] "Randy Savage wasn't wrestling quite often but whenever he did he had a good performance and so was the case here. A nice short match for Savage to gain some momentum as he had his storyline with Crush going on. [**1/2]"
[3.0] "It's the usual template of Savage getting dominated for 90% of the match, the opponent making a mistake and leaving an opening, and Savage capitalising and winning nearly instantaneously after hitting a few signature moves. It's the same every time and this wasn't a particularly good example of it."
[5.0] "A solid return match for Savage. Obviously, this wasn't meant to be a long competitive match, but I did enjoy some of the action we got for all the six minutes it lasted. Funny to think this would've been Macho Man vs Rikishi had it happened a couple of years later. [**1/2]"
