[6.0] "The action is good, but nothing all of that special. It is an enjoyable Survivor Series match, but not a standout. Benoit gets eliminated shockingly early. They really were just dropping him down the card since he lost the title. And Maven's treatment was questionable too. It seems like they got cold feet in putting him in such a big spot, so they barely used him. Even still, they brought him out to fire up a bit and get eliminated right after. Almost would have made sense to leave him out completely. The bout ultimately falls flat in hindsight too, because nothing happens when each man runs Raw. A decent close to this show, but too many weird choices and standard offense to make a splash."

[5.0] "Why did they did my boy Maven like that. For a second I thought he was gonna get an underdog comeback angle then got beaten just like that. This was a weird time man. Snitsky, Hidenreich and few others. Thankfully I was a toddler during this times. The match felt off. There was no proper sync in the elimination for me. Sort of felt flat till the end. Only Snitsky getting busted open and Randy winning had me interested. But even then, Snitsky did not shoot and Randy did not have a babyface resurgence over HHH."

Epic moment when Snitsky has some beef with HHH and Batista steps in and they go face to face. Really good main event, topped off with a satisfying ending. Lots of them got to shine and do their own thing."

The stipulation of this actually had pretty unique implications and after being clowned on by Evolution for a while, this felt like a big W for Orton."

[6.0] "It had a nice dynamic of Snisky and Triple H, Edge looked fantastic and Orton had another fine showing, but even though the stakes were there it didn't feel like a big fight, let alone the main event. They did alright, the drama was there until the end and everything was moving smoothly, but that's about it."

[8.0] "It's not as strong a match as the classics in 2001 or 2003, but I thought it was a very entertaining match with a really good stipulation that had been built up really well every week on Raw. The face team was at a disadvantage because of Maven's injury meant he wasn't at the start of the match, but the heel team showed dissension with Edge and Snitsky after Triple H's title and I thought from a narrative perspective this was very good. The spot where Maven returns and busts up Snitsky clean with an elbow, before he gets his recipt and Snitsky clobbers everyone with the chair was a really entertaining moment. Maven actually did a fun video about this on his YouTube channel. It ended up with Orton having to survive Edge and Triple H in a handicap situation at the finish with Edge accidentally spearing Triple H and Orton ending up beating both with the RKO from outta nowhere on both. Really good underdog finish to the match."

[8.0] "I always loved the stipulation to this match where each member of the winning team gets a week to be in charge of RAW. It lead to a really interesting and eventful month of television. While the match itself may not be perfect, I still think it has a lot of great qualities. There are a lot of stories at play here, and the match is structured in a way that moves all of them along very well. Edge gets a cheap victory over Benoit to further their program (after opening with an effective heated exchange between them, too), Orton uses his former stablemates cheap tactics against them to eliminate Batista, dissension between Triple H and Batista starts really being teased, Triple H loses his Evolution team mates first (Flair is ejected from ringside and Batista is eliminated) and stuck working with two guys that he can't trust, etc... There's actually quite a lot happening here, and it keeps the match feeling interesting and purposeful. I honestly love Snitsky here, too. I wouldn't exactly call him 'impressive' as such, but he is just such a belligerent oaf that he really is a joy to watch. He feels like a caveman that wandered out of a time machine in to a wrestling ring. His exchange with Maven is great and feels really heated, with the blood really putting it over the edge. You could definitely argue that some elements of the match weren't 100% over with the crowd and that some portions felt rushed (and others a little slow), but from a narrative perspective I really enjoyed this and thought it felt like a meaningful and engaging PPV main event."

[9.0] "Survivor Series Elimination matches absolutely rule when they ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING. Another top-notch 2000s WWE video package before this match. Great action with pretty strong booking all around imo. I remember at the time that it was abundantly clear that Orton and Batista were about to be "The Guys" along with Cena. Excellent main event, wonderful memories. ****1/2"

[6.0] "A pretty good survivor series match, nothing close to those of the previous year but it was certainly fun. Snitsky sucked as usual but HHH having to work with him was an interesting concept, and Orton's comeback win was pretty cool. Good match overall, though maybe a tad underwhelming. ***"

[7.0] "The elimination order of this is really stupid. Some solid action and storytelling, and the addition of actual stakes was a very good idea, but Orton stopped clicking when he was suddenly shifted to a white meat babyface (horrible booking choice) and thus the match doesn’t resonate on the same level. Still enjoyable but not at the high level of the best elimination matches."

[7.0] "With Evolution basically near its end, the team was not convincing like other matches. Not every wrestler had the chance to shine in this match, Orton and Edge were the two stars of the match. Snitsky destroyed everyone and it did not count for more than one minute. The final part is great but it does not feel like a memorable Survivor Series match. ***1/2"
