Matt Riddle vs. WALTER

[6.0] "It's a fine match. It's pretty hard for these two to have a bad match and this being there first match together it isn't bad. Structured pretty weird. Like Gunther kicking out at 1 right after the fire up from riddle kinds was annoying. But no it isn't a bad match just not even close to as good as the matches they'll have in the future. (***1/4)"

[9.0] "At this time I thought this was fantastic so I'm going to rate it as such, I mean it's WALTER so it's gonna be damn good. I don't quite feel the same about Riddle these days but certainly he gave WALTER a fight."

[8.0] "This was best of WALTER vs Riddle under 10 minutes. I didn't mind Riddle no selling the damaged foot after WALTER stopped attacking because both were going all out and the match was short as well so didn't bother me."

[3.0] "On paper story of this match made perfect sense (Riddle got an upper hand in the beginning, but WALTER cut him off and started destroying his ankle, so after a while Riddle found an opening and decided to go all-in and do whatever he could to win), but I guess at the time Riddle wasn't any good at selling/between the moves stuff, so execution wasn't good - he basically no-sold WALTER's damage to the ankle and focused too much on firing on all cylinders for long enough to make this match feel like it was all over the place."

[2.0] "I could love both of these guys in the right match, but I don't know what they were trying to do here. This felt VERY rushed. They started with some low effort grappling before quickly moving onto striking, but those strikes weren't very impressive. WALTER began working over Riddle's ankle and his offense directed towards the foot was good, but that was short lived. Riddle immediately no sold the damage done to his foot by flipping out of suplexes and hitting knees. Bad match. *1/2"

[8.0] "Really short match but for the time it lasted it was very stiff and a high pace, these guys work great together"

[7.0] "These two wrestled a bunch of times in 2017, mostly in Progress, and delivered on every single occasion. This is probably their shortest match, but still well worth going out of your way for. WALTER's submissions on Riddle's leg looked gruesome, aided by Riddle's excellent selling of it as he howled in agony like someone in a horror movie getting their leg ripped off. Unfortunately, Riddle completely stops selling the leg near the end of the match, which I don't always have a problem with, but seemed more jarring here considering the shorter runtime."
