[6.0] "I don't find FTR all that fascinating, at least not as much as others. I think their egos are their biggest weakness. They're just not as good as they think they are. Their actions feel formulaic and robotic with no emotion coming through at any point in their existence. PAC and Penta are so much more entertaining than them. But I didn't like this nearly as much as Metlzer."
[7.0] "I'd forgotten that on occasion, taped editions of Rampage could sound like this. That distinctly distant production pairs with a tired crowd for an admittedly cold environment, somewhat undercutting the match's considerable action. It's still good though, fuelled by a visibly motivated FTR performance, from surprisingly daring offence to (less surprisingly) outrageous bumping. ***1/2"
[7.0] "Really good match that is hindered slightly by the crowd being tired. The match felt like a drifted tbe more we got towards the closing stretch which is very unusual for an FTR match. FTR's heat segment on Pac was pretty good and it was nice getting to see them get in there and wrestle. The finish of Malachi Black running in and misting Pac was lame and irritates me as I think his character work is quite bad. Fine match thouhh overall. ***1/4"
[8.0] "Great match: Ftr were incredible as usual and their old school heel tactics were amazing. Pac was good and Penta had a fantastic comeback. The action was very good all throughout the match, especially the closing stretch with lots of exchanges and sequences. Malakai costed Pac the match and continued to assault even after the match ended. 8/10 - 4*/5*"
[6.0] "Poor ref Rick Knox has been booked like a buffoon the last couple of weeks: 1) oblivious to Britt Baker and lackey interfering in Hayter/Rosa's match, 2) out-of-position on a successful Pac rollup and then missing Black's match-altering black mist interference. Props to Cash for his effort the last couple of weeks; he's really been trying hard. Despite approving-of and enjoying the alacrity of the ending, ie Dax's rollup after Malakai's mist, I thought this was a bit long-in-the-tooth. Yet a battle this was and FTR can always be counted-on to deliver in main-event situations. 3 1/4 - 3/10 just missing my '7' cutoff"
[7.0] "On one hand I really enjoyed it as AEW isn't known for their traditional tag matches, rather pandering to the Young Bucks style. On the other hand, there was quite a bit of overbooking which hurt the overall quality of the match. Still good overall though. ***1/2"
[7.0] "Even without a title on the line or any real stakes, this managed to be a solid main event to close out the show. It was a little overbooked in spots but not enough to keep it from being enjoyable."
[8.0] "Took me some time to be invested but once I was, the thing rocked. FTR's work was cool as PAC and Penta can do everything, the crowd will chear them. The final minutes were on fire, almost breathless. Post match was very cool as well. Explosive one."
[9.0] "Pretty great tag team action here, just as you might expect. They got a lot of time to work and made the most of it, FTR continues to impress me a lot week over week. Finish was interesting, we'll see what happens."
[7.0] "As expected, arguably the best tag team in the world put together a damn good match against two of the best wrestlers on the planet. FTR took some nasty spills in this one, which emphasized just how dynamic PAC and Penta are on offense. Additionally, we got to see the teamwork from FTR that lends itself to high-grade storytelling. All in all, a more than deserving main event. 3.5 stars, 7 out of 10."
[9.0] "This was a great match that had the fans engaged, told a great story, show the best of what tag teams have to offer. I didn't mind the story driven ending because the rest of the match was so well done. I think they earned the ability to promote more of the story between death triangle, FTR, Malachi black, and Andrade El idolo."
[9.0] "I thought this was excellent. FTR has a great old school tag team formula, Penta looks intense and violent, and PAC looks like a badass. These two teams gelled so well together, and it makes me want to see that 2 out of 3 falls match even more now because of how well it'd fit with the story. This match had such a great structure, it beckoned to old school heat with tense comebacks. The fake (I assume) botch from PAC ruled, it added so much tension. Unfortunately, the finish kinda sucked. *4.25*"
[6.0] "This match was a bit of a rollercoaster in terms of holding my attention. Parts of it seemed to really drag and left me wanting the match to just end, but other parts where quite good. Some of the oldschool stuff bordered on cliche and felt a little by-the-numbers, but it was a decent enough main event even if momentum had fallen off by that point in the card (not helped by a kind of dead crowd who were that way throughout Dynamite and then had Rampage on top)."
[8.0] "Whilst I'd have preferred the initial 2/3 Falls tag title match myself, this was still a pretty damn great replacement. FTR can really do no wrong with their old school tag formula, and PAC was a fantastic substitute that gelled with Pentagon almost as well as Fenix. Not a fan of the finish myself, but it did its job in setting up a new feud between PAC and Malakai, which should be interesting enough. [***3/4]"
[7.0] "This was a solid main event match. Wasn't a huge fan of the finish but carries on the storyline and allows them to beat one of the teams. ***1/2"
[9.0] "PAC is the best, and this further sets up his inevitable feud with Black, which will results in some of the best things on TV. The match itself was great, FTR and DT have been involved in a great back and forth, and I cannot wait for the Triple A Triplemania Regia match."
[9.0] "A great match here, exactly as you'd expect from these teams. FTR are one of the smartest teams out there, with great tag work and some dubious tactics. Death Triangle, even without Fénix, are perhaps the best team in AEW, with an unmatched combination of strength and agility. PAC sold the bad eye extremely well, and there's great chemistry between the teams. An excellent match without a bad moment, which also contributed to at least two storylines."
[8.0] "Remember last year when WWE were obsessed with taking people's eyes out' That's carried over to AEW, with Malakai Black involved in both storylines (Seth Rollins is the storyline reason for Black's eye being the way it is). Here he got involved in an awesome match between FTR and Death Triangle, taking out PAC with the mist to help FTR win, and then he gouged PAC's good eye. Pretty sickening, but at least the match was kickass."
[7.0] "Good main event between these two great teams but it was clearly far too long for what it was, I've always said FTR was a smart team and anyway they like to boast about having a brain above the average of other teams in terms of tag team wrestling but there are matches like this where I think they are too much. In the sense that when they dominate a match way too long like here, it gets a bit boring and it's not as interesting as it has been in other matches. For me there was nothing to justify this tag match lasting almost twenty minutes and I would have preferred it to have a similar format to the opener to make it more digestible, nevertheless it was still solid and PAC was great in the babyface role he played for most of the match. The crowd erupted for Penta's hot-tag and after that it was a pretty enjoyable chaotic final sprint, if the finish leads to a PAC vs Malakai Black match I'm in."
