Bruce & Lenny vs. Buff Bagwell & Gran Apolo

[3.0] "This match was exactly what you'd expect from early TNA: chaos, awkward gimmicks, and more focus on everything around the match than the actual wrestling itself. The Rainbow Express gimmick has aged terribly and comes off more uncomfortable than entertaining today, dragging the presentation down hard. In-ring, it wasn't a disaster, but it was firmly average at best. Gran Apolo stood out as the most capable performer, managing a few solid power moves that briefly lifted things up. Buff Bagwell, on the other hand, felt low-energy and uninspired, adding little momentum to the match. What really hurts it is how unfocused the whole thing feels, with commentary and side angles constantly pulling attention away from the action. The finish also doesn't help, landing flat rather than delivering any real payoff. There are no major botches and it doesn't overstay its welcome, but the match never really finds its rhythm either. Overall, it's not an outright trainwreck, just a dull, messy, and poorly structured tag match that struggles to hold interest. 3/10."

[2.0] "A generally uninteresting and messy match that was overshadowed with too much gimmicky nonsense, as you can always rely upon for this era of TNA. The relentless homophobia surrounding the Rainbow Express gimmick remains, as does the wacky mismatched tag team dynamic of Buff and Apolo based around, I guess, Buff being an arrogantly racist white guy... ? Yeah, I don't love any of this, and I'm glad it's over."

[4.0] "It's not a great match, but there's nothing really wrong with it if you ignore the heels' gimmick. There's some decent stuff here - Apolo looked good, especially with his magnificent superkick, and Bagwell brought some energy into the match when the crowd was a bit quiet."

[1.0] "Nothing match and booking wise they brought Buff out to lose a quick match be homophobic and quit on air? Quality television TNA..."

[2.0] "A nothing match that went way to long and had very few spots worth any thing . The match is not the foucos as alica comes out to get monny from ed ferera and mike teny cant sto talking about AMW. The finish was lame, at least discount dave batista hit a few nice moves."

[1.0] "This is not a match that should've been booked. Literally the best part of this whole part of the show was the post-match angle of Buff Bagwell quitting. Also another match where they don't fully focus on the match."

[0.0] "When I saw this match was on the card I gave my loudest groan ever, and it turns out I was right to. When Apolo is the biggest worker of this match, you're in serious trouble. And we don't even get to see him, because this is another match which takes a backseat to the former Ryan Shamrock taking payment from men for reasons they never explain. Instead it's a crap gay gimmick and Buff Bagwell, and both of those combine to make me wish I'd never started this show."

[0.0] "This match was really bad. First the Rainbow Express gimmick is awful and their in ring action wasn't particulary good. Gran Apolo was the best here and in his powermoves the camera was filming Ed Ferrara. The finish was stupid. Bat match."

[3.0] "A poor match as expected. Lenny and Bruce getting the win is pretty terrible since it means they have to wrestle again later in the show."

[1.0] "Poor Gran Apolo. A washed up Buff Bagwell and the intense homophobia baiting duo of Bruce and Lenny leads to a damn poor match. I'm surprised this even made it to a 1, to be entirely honest. Sign of bad times."
