[6.0] "Work his legs all you want, but Kota logic dictates that it just makes the joints stronger. Kip up into high kicks into a standing shooting star press. You did nothing to hurt him. Female ref popped through real loud on this recording. They really got in there with the camera when Kota was reaching for the ropes. That was actually my favorite part."

[7.0] "Although both Taka and Kota are great talents, this was not either's best outing. A very grounded, striking based match that ended in Kota K.O-ing Taka. Considering the talents involved I expected more even from a 2008 match considering what Kota was doing that year and not long after and Taka being Taka."

[8.0] "Pretty cool match - all killer, no filler. TAKA was at times blatantly lazy when he had to sell, but he made Ibushi's comebacks really good and put him over strong. The finish they did doesn't happen every day, personally I liked it a lot. Madoka, aka Hagane Shinnou was the next challenger, and he really represented fashion of 2008."
